I’m from LA and USC does not belong in the top 25. Worst fan base next to UCLA of the P4 schools.

That’s the one I would probably change if I redid the list, but that place was popping back in the Carroll era and I let that sway my opinion too much.

@@BryceTinson I was lucky to experience a penn st homecoming game one year when I lived on the east coast and that showed me how lame USC and UCLA games are lol. Hell even at the pro level LA just has the worst fans.

As a Purdue fan I was the living embodiment of “you had us in the first half, not gonna lie” lol. I’ve been to several different college stadiums, and Purdue is the second best atmosphere I’ve ever been in. Even though Purdue lost when I was in Columbus at the shoe, that was the most electric atmosphere I’ve ever been in. But Purdue definitely has a very electric atmosphere as well. Hoping to get to a game this year to see the renovated stadium in person

I think it’s one of the more underrated atmospheres in college football. I’ve been to 2 games and they’ve been awesome.

I will say, I’ll never forget being in the Baylor marching band with RG3. Even he couldn’t get anything going at Kyle Field that day. It is extremely tough to play at. However, I don’t see how it is #1. Perhaps I haven’t been there in a while. You would think U of Michigan would crack the top ten too…🤔

Yeah A&M is a tough place just not 1, I agree. My thing with Michigan is that it’s 110K people but sounds like it’s 85K. The fan base is a little on the older side and doesn’t have the rowdy game day atmosphere that you would think with that many people.

Had a lot to say when I first saw the list. My first reaction was LSU and Penn State should of been the top 2. Now my own top ten everyone should take with a grain of salt since it’s base on what I seen and experience going to a lot of different types of college football games in my lifetime. 1. LSU 2. Penn State 3.Tennessee 4. Washington 5. Florida 6. Oregon 7. Iowa 8 Wisconsin 9. Alabama 10. Texas A&M

You must be insane or a michigan fan to put the horseshoe at 15. I implore to go to a night game there. We are top 12 at least. Penn state is number 1, playing at Happy valley during a white out is literally the highest recorded decibels from any stadium of all time. LSU is number 2.

I don’t really have an issue with flipping PSU and LSU but I would say LSU is better between 12-3:30 kickoffs and PSU is better during 7:30 kicks. The white out is the single greatest atmosphere in CFB, but they only do it once a year so you can’t just use that solely as your argument. As for The Shoe, it’s a difference of 3 spots. I don’t think it’s really that big of a deal. It’s still a great atmosphere.

@@BryceTinson I have Autzen at 9 they lack high capacity if they had higher capacity it would be just as loud as penn state. Kyle field Im not sure as the program isnt as deep historically as the others.

Every stadium gets insane during insane moments though. It’s more about the consistency throughout the season. They’ve been the best team at home cuz it’s the best dynasty we’ve ever seen. It has nothing to do with the home crowd. They could’ve played in the Kibbie dome and still been the best team at home. But like I said it’s just my opinion.

@@BryceTinson Alabama wasn't the best dynasty until 2009, look up 2005 Alabama vs Florida, Florida won the national championship that year. Alabama was like a 7 and 6 team that hsd potential. They could have beat anybody that night.

@@BryceTinson also go watch bama Tennessee 2005 which was also before Nick Saban. That game was after our best receiver was already out for the season. That was an intense rivalry game and atmosphere doesn't get any better than that.
