I'm a 4-3/4-2-5 kind of guy. I can do everything I need to do using those defenses to cover the run and the pass niu's speed is my main attribute with all 11 guys on defense and I can shut down any run or pass it's just my go-to thing in college football 14 in Florida State's winning a championship in college football 25

Joe Lee Dunn’s funniest quote to me was you only need 3 coverages when you get to the F--ing quarterback. I will say as my ncaa14 dynasty would go on you would play a bunch of 335 and it was difficult since I always ran an air raid that had some spread option types in it. My go to on ncaa14 was 425 because I love the 2 tech dt’s and I had guys in the box but had speed

Long corners, Stud D-tackles, Freakish Defensive ends, hard hitting safeties, and Uber Athletic linebackers. I love playing defense more than playing offense. This is gonna be fun! Back before the rpo came into the game I would often run a 5-2 against teams running with 3-4 wr and did great. It was a sack fest 😂. But I am curious to try it again in today game

@DuceSenpai most people don't know but when I was coaching in East Pennsylvania, high schools in that area were still running wing t offense and I shut them down with the 3-3-5 in 2010-14.

Now, that is something special. Down here, we have a cult of teams that run the “Texas Slot T.” Are you familiar with it? By cult, I mean the coaching tree is tight knit and you can only learn it from someone part of the tree.

i’m new to madden and ncaa idk why my receivers either drop the ball or i get picked off. I can’t pick other people off though.

This game is challenging. It depends on the type of catch you do. Hold A for possession/conservative catch, which is a better chance at hanging on to the ball and getting your feet in bounds, but your player will fall immediately after catching it. Hold X or Square for a RAC catch. It helps you speed up to the ball faster and catch it in stride to keep running, but it is harder to stay in bounds and has a higher chance of dropping the ball after getting hit. Hold Y or Triangle for an aggressive catch, typically for contested passes or jump ball situations. This could create a big play and help you snag the ball over defenders, but you can easily drop it or misjudge the ball and put yourself In a bad spot. Since you’re a beginner I say change your passing settings to classic. I hope this helps!

Personnel is always important. That’s why I like what Georgia did with the Tite. Scheme helps but you’re right, gotta have some monsters to pull it off! Every defense is going to have a weak spot.

The 3-3-5 shouldnt be a good defense. This game is supposed to be different from Madden. So running shit defenses like this shouldn’t work. I’m gonna run all over this defense just saying. Just like you would in real life. Lincon Riley is 0-4 in the playoffs when he coached at OU and they ran a 3-3-5. And don’t show Georgia because they never run a 3-3-5. 3-4 is Kirby’s bread and butter at the base.
