@@KR4YZEE yo, i did everything as instructed in the video. an error shows up saying i dont have the Datapathfix.exe, which is weird because i put the datapath files into the plugins folder. i looked back at the dathpathfix files and there isn't an exe and i think thats the issue. do you know where i can get the exe file? i tried finding the file on other versions of the datapathfix files on github from Dyvinia and not a single one has the exe

Damn, i tried to do this but after i select a game in the mod manager, if i hover my mouse on top of it, it will black out, then if i try to click something it just crashes with no log, weird behaviour since it worked a few months ago.

Does this work if you got the game off game pass? I’ve followed so many tutorials including this one. Have tried looking into forums but can’t get it to work. It either loads without mods or it won’t load at all.

This will work if you got the game off a game pass. According to my experience, it is very easy to apply the mods if you use Origin rather than the EA launcher. I got the Origin from softonic.com since it is not provided through the official site. Then follow my previous tutorial. Important: don’t open origin and steam before you apply the mods. If they are opened, quite them from the bottom right corner tab in windows. Let the frosty mod manager launch them and apply the mods.

This tutorial has worked for me in the past but for some reason my mods aren't loading anymore. I tried clearing out all of my caches, reinstalling my game, updating frosty manager, updating datapathfix, checked that my storage drives were formatted to NTFS, and updating unite, but my mods won't load anymore. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I've been trying to fix this for over an hour now.

I saw this issue with one of my follower and I have personally checked his pc through “teamviewer”. Unfortunately I couldn’t find the issue. I suggest you to move the game files to the other hard disk or reinstall the game and try again

When you import the mod files make sure to import the unite mod 3.4.1 default one. Not the story of compatible one or online one.

If you haven't completed the story mod you should use the storymod compatible mod. Then the story can be played without crashing. For general gameplay you should use the default mod file. Default mod file has all the cool effects.

yeah still doesn't work with the EA desktop app when downloaded from said app with xbox. *meaning, my version of NFS Heat is using the EA App with the EA play membership* idk if its just mine or what. followed all steps from OG video, deleted it all before restarting the process with this method - still didnt work. (the only difference is when i went to launch the game, the 'data path fix' in the description wasnt up to date. SO, i deleted everything again _(for a fresh start)_ except for the updated 'data path fix' files. redid the whole process - everything going smoothly - added just the 2 mods in the launcher like you 'unite heat' *top* and 'unite extreme stance add-on' *bottom* launched the game annnnnnnnd.... vanilla UNLESS there is something else Im missing or if there's a glitch with the mod then idk what's up. *[edit: i dont believe, in any of the videos it mentions that the mod **_does not_** work with EA Play, however the site does near the bottom of the page. TL:DR, mod works well with steam, or has to be bought from EA site WITHOUT the use of EA play]*

Unfortunately the unite mod does not works with subscription versions of the game such as EA play and Xbox game-pass. It is clearly mentioned in the Unite mod’s official website FAQ page. I thinks that is the issue with your modding process.

This mod works normally for me, except that it doesn't load my save. If I open Heat via Steam, it loads my save but the mod doesn't work, and if I open via Frosty the mod works but it starts as a new player. Idk what's going on, can you help me?

- Delete the ModData folder in your NFS games directory. - Repair the game in EA Desktop or Steam. - Moving the game from a HDD to SSD and vice versa. - Clear your Frosty cache folder in Frosty's install directory. - Clear (delete) the frosty folder located in "appdata/local". To reach this folder simply press Windows key + R, type “ %localappdata% ” and hit enter. - Restart your PC. - Uninstall and reinstall NFS, EA Desktop, and Frosty.

NFS Rivals and 2015 The DatapathFix only works for the EA Desktop version of the games. If you have Steam or don't wanna use the DatapathFix follow below: -Disable the DatapathFix (tools, options, DatapathFix) before playing NFS Rivals and 2015 -Enable your frosty launch options(tools, options, launch options, click enable platform launching) to EA Desktop and you can now launch the game and mods should work -If you launched the game with the DatapathFix enabled go where NFS is installed on your PC. You will see a .exe file and .orig file. delete the .exe that will have a different icon or the same icon but it won't be the actual .exe for the game. The .orig file will be the real .exe for the game and rename the .orig file to NFS14.exe for Rivals and NFS16.exe for 2015

Lemme know the error. try to change launch options to EA desktop or steam. then launch again make sure to set your operating system language to english if the issue continues, delete frosty folder and verify your game files in steam or ea desktop. Follow my latest video on my channel

That’s the mod I’m having trouble with. I’m on newest everything and when I click launch, steam launches and ea launches, but it just asked me to sign in to ea each time which I’ve done like 100 times

-Make sure your storage drives are formatted to NTFS or frosty won't work. -Clear (delete) the ModData folder located in the install directory of each nfs game. -Clear your Frosty cache folder in Frosty's install directory. -Clear (delete) the frosty folder located in "appdata/local". To reach this folder simply press Windows key + R, type “ %localappdata% ” and hit enter.
