Graphics are pretty cool but who could claim that game is “next-gen” for? There was a HUGE hype with the unreal engine when the times that PS5 newly released but we NEVER experienced what it is. thanks for the preview the sad thing is that honnestly i cant feel a big difference regarding gameplay and i was hyped by the player role feature as a huge FM fan It might be hard to judge on one single game of gold cards with no voice commentary explanation like " look this player he do this instead of that because he is a /// player role" however all i see is that what i didnt like in fc24 is still here : - You are punished to using manual defending - but your AI will never be able to correctly defend on wings - and you run everywhere to intercept ball or go contact but you just run around opponents instead The error possibilities in some passing option is good

Maybe it's just me but the shooting animation at 7:10 is just so unrealistic and I hate that it's in the game instead of low drivens. The player doesn't even put his foot through the ball, just sort of touches it and it and the ball just flies off like a balloon. Same thing with long shots. Previous FIFAs were much better in this regard. Unless you do a power shot, a long shot is pretty much useless because of the shitty ball physics and shooting animations. Little things like this that they introduced in FC24 make this game so arcady.

This is normal, it’s a setting you can enable when you first start the game. It will dynamically assign you a difficulty based on your skill level if you’re not sure which difficulty to pick.

I know. I imagine it's because of the official team licensing issues and other associated game costs for other game creators to attempt to do it. The only way around this, would be for other game creators to make a game on PC with Mods available. PES was great back In the day. At least we had a different alternative back then. I hope the door opens up in the future to allow other game creators to have a go and make the footballing game market much more competitive. The price point of FC25 for a start off is way too extortionate. That way, EA Sports will have to get it right, otherwise others will simply purchase alternative football games. Roll on Football Manager 2025. Apparently, they've completely overhauled that game with a completely brand new game engine.

People here saying its EA FC 24, you're wrong. Its not even EA FC 24, its worse. EA is doing it worse every year since 2021. What EA understands from football: "Too many goals, kickoff boost, fast game, stupid scores like 7-2, 6-0, 5-4 (especially in 1v1), and pace football." I remember i started playing Fifa because PES was not realistic enough back then, sadly now this game is also becoming PES. If PES had good graphics i'd play it. There is nothing good about this game other than good graphics.

Full disclaimer, ive been playing fifa since 08 so i know alot about the grievances but honestly, i see alot of improvements this year. Im a career mode guy, just that simple introduction was good enough for me ( i joke ) but ppl, if you solely play career mode, like myself: Simulation mode, Dynamic AI Tactics, Weather changes, better board rules, better tactics, better gameplay because of the tactics overhaul. This game is being played between semi and professional ai, i play on legendary, do you know how much more challenging and fun the game would be on the highest Difficulty. ( ultimate is not fair at all so i dont see it as a good difficulty. ) I believe in all the years of fifa this fifa is where EA actually are trying to pls both career and ultimate team fans and i say more power to us for the years of pain and misery to finally getting what we pay for. Its a game after all and they cant get everything right but to bash the game before noting the differences is abit premmature in my humble opinion
