EA Finally Fixed The HUT Problem For OFFLINE Players! | 2000s Event Breakdown!

For me, this EA turnaround was huge deal and i don´t use word huge lightly. It is so over used word that it hardly means nothing anymore. I have been gamer almost all of my life and the way game industry treats their customers nowdays is borderline evil. NHL game series is very important for me and i think NHL 94 was my first NHL game i played (yea i´m old). I haven´t play HUT for years and main reason i stopped is that EA started to force players to play online matches and at the time i really did not enjoy online matches, those were really toxic. But if you did not play em, you could not complete objectives and your line up falls behind unless you buy some packs. Reason why i came back was that the HUT was marketed play as you like, no forcing. I mostly really enjoy HUT, it is far from perfect, but fun. I consider myself as casual offline player and my initial reaction to xp season3 was, to put it mildly, bad. For me season 3 was worst possible thing that EA could do. Well i surely wasn´t only one. Videogame should not ever make people feel bad, i mean really bad. For this reason, the way EA handled this is great, it may seem just small thing, but how often we actually see things like this? They actually did everything right and not within weeks or months, but within 24 hours. I know that the company has many employees who really cares about the game and players and this was really great way to show that. So i continue to enjoy the game, until i become frustrated again 😆

Only thing I also wish they communicated is that Season 2XP bonus pts if saved would carry over into season 3. But I'm glad EA recognized and responded/fix the SB

I don’t think they should carry over because it’s not really fair but if it does it need to work for everybody not who ever gets lucky

That would be nice, but I doubt EA would make the change regarding carrying over XP points to another season. I think too much of the player base that have time constraints, or who are new to the game, may think it would be an unfair advantage. One thing I think they should consider doing is extending the path for XP Bonus packs. Way too short and not enough diversity in packs. It was a waste of XP points after earning them in objectives post XP Bonus packs.

We need upgrades on X Factors badly. I actually got enough fodder in the 75-77 range to make another. Icons are also going dirt cheap I could probably make one instead, but are they worth it. Lile Gretzky or Mario? or should I wait for season 2 X factors which may never come? Choices choices.

Series 2 X factors at this point is a myth 😂 I will just make cards availabke, Gretzky is better imo but I at some point want to make Orr or Spooner.

@ 30 wins in rivals/HC weekly is a huge time investment on top of Wildcard, Squad Battles, and Moments. If you win 50% of online games, that’s 60+ games at over 2-3hrs daily.

@ Play half of each objectives and get double the coins and almost the same packs. 30 wins online is a grind and I am for sure not doing that 😅

I think they realized they was going to lose a lot of the offline players and decide to fix their mistake and the weekly objectives getting fixed back to the way it was saved the game

No one knows but my guess is that everyone just focus on 86s trade ins and all the lower overall trade ins will be better to do so I am saving 83-85s and buying 84s under 6.5k while they are cheap. In fantasy event we traded in X5 81s for 2 collectibles I think we will see something like that but with 83s maybe

I think you may lose coins if you save and don’t buy anything because AH will go up massively when TOTY drops

Don’t praise them, new event with same overall msp’s minus the free AP, none of which are usable on the team still no series 2 xfactors, hasn’t been a Matthew’s card since launch etc…

I am not praising anyone, the free AP was one off thing same as cover athletes at the beginning of the year, they never said it will be free for all MSPs going forward. They are usable for a lot of players who picked up the game recently but not for players who played form day one. X factors are for sure like a month or so late and I don’t get why we still don’t have them but probably after TOTY we will get it.

They can’t increase overall every two weeks, it’s overall increase every 3rd event so next TOTY should be 92s I would guess but an actual event after it probably will be 90 or 91

In what way ? They reverted it back to how it was so now people can’t just AFK XP and get it done in a week, people need to play it
