It sucks for the people that weren't home at that time, not saying that those who were home don't touch grass, but sometimes I can't be home at the content time and that can be the reality to many of us. I've been grinding this game, did some league upgrade packs, all of the 82x20, 83x10, attackers, midfielders and defenders, even did icons and PP, everything without spending a dollar (€ euros in my case) and it sucks that I didn't even get an honourable mention, not even Ederson or Bernardo... there are even people in worst scenarios than me, people that saved packs for weeks and did the same as me and got 0 TOTY. (Possible solution below) Worst part of it is that the mistake EA did is almost uncompensable... - They can't take Messi from people who got it because they haven't done anything wrong - They can't give Messi to every people because there's people prior to this PP that spent a lot of money to get TOTYs, and specially Messi - Only way I see is give people who did the PP and got nothing and for those who couldn't do in time a pack of good value or a TOTY PP 1of2 or 1of3, I know we would probably only get GK's but at least is a compensation.

as a new player to this game who got the game on sale a few weeks ago, i already feel so far behind other teams in division 7 it feels impossible to catch up. im already playing fully stacked icon teams and/or 5 TOTYs on them. i mean after 100+ games i haven't seen a single dude that started fifa in 2024 even though the game is on sale. this game has little reason for a new player to keep playing it so its no wonder the only people still playing a few months post launch are people that have been playing fifa games for years

Bro I started in December, I got a decent team without investing anything but time into it, but had to grind the menus and SBCs. Do the available 88 female player and 90 Xhaka, keep getting this type of fodder, soon you'll be able to put it into some SBC that is worth it. I packed Zico in a base icon SBC after getting 87 Kluivert, 87 Seedorf and 87 Veron. You're not always gonna be lucky, and it's gonna take some grinding, but grinding rewards and menus is about the only fun thing in the game.

Bad idea even if it's half price which it wouldn't be. They are going to benefit from almost obligatory FP spending to just finish that sbc as it would take ages to finish it. Plus the fact that all game modes are results driven while people that don't have that advantage will no longer be able to get the better rewards leading to even slower progression to the sbc. Then it snowballs and even more people will no longer be able to good rewards as more and more people complete using FP.

As someone else in the comments said this is not glitched, it's just EA not fucking enough with odds regarding MLS. It seems that the rng selects the league first and then the player inside, and since the pick is 86+ and Messi is the only walkout inside MLS the choice is simple. The funny shit is that EA didn't think about that, you'd guess the MLS choice would be 0.001%, instead the league odds are the same for each one. I love it.

A programming issue, not some black magic or a cockroach inside a pc (as it once was). They just didn't fuck with the odds enough (which they alread decide on a pack to pack basis to make you miserable), so bugged means "we didn't rig it enough, sorry!"
