What confuses me is when a player is higher rated but with worse stats. Some great examples of this. Like, Bellingham has less pace than Emre Can. We all know that Jude is faster than him💀💀

Bro the thing is EA really don't watch football/soccer matches carefully. They just give them a rating from the matches. But they don't give them the stats from their real life matches such as-Ronaldo's got low pace then messi,then his physicality problem and there are many players have these problems in their stats. EA just messed up the stats this year. I don't know you play the FC mobile,but they just messed up with the offside rules. How many people do not realize that specific attributes in different stat categories affect the overall more than than other attributes. A CDM player can have: 92 Short + Long passing 60 Curve 62 FK Acurracy 87 Vision 71 Crossing And have the total Passing stat be 84. But the most important passing stats for a CDM is Short + Long Passing and Vision. So those 3 specific attributes will affect the the overall of the player greatly. If the the other attributes were higher, while yes the Passing OVR *will* be higher. That does not mean the player ovr will be also.

It makes no sense to compare women players stats to man player stats because the ratings are compared to players of their gender not the other. They are basically two different rating databases that are made so it is possible to play with both together. So basically Cascarino is fast for the Women's game but Mata is slow for the man's game comparatively. (And Mata is "old" ea cuts players over 30 a leg of every FIFA)

Yall need to understand that overall rating is not about "power" but about "ranking". Like some intelligent but not talented players can have top overalls but worst stats. Fpr example Thomas Muller has bad stats for a 84 rated card

Muller doesn't even have bad stats for a 83 rated card anymore, he had bad stats for a 87 rated card but his 83 rated card has good and high stats in the requered stats. In his -4 downgrade from 87 to 83 the only big stat downgrade is pace, the rest is all -1 or -2

The answer is depend on position and the stats that support the position.. If the player is ST support stats are Finishing, Heading, Shooting, Speed, Reaction, Position.. IF these stats are very high, and the other stats are very low, the player with this position will have a high rating. If the player is CB, the support stas are heading, Def awareness, Stand Tackle, Slide Tackle, Stamina, Jump, Reaction, Agressiveness, Cut passing Lane. If the player is CM/CAM the support stats are Passing, Dribbling, Ball control, Stamina, Shoting, Speed, Reaction, Mentality, Vision, Position. If the player is CDM the support stats are Heading, Passing, Def awareness, Stand n slide tackles, Dribling, ball control, long pass, stamina, Long Shot, Speed, Reaction, Mentality, Cut passing lane, vision.
