For the one about 74 rated Cifuentes, that was intentional by EA. You obtain this card by completing objectives that require playing and winning a few games in the Silver Lounge Game Mode (In Silver Lounge, you can only use silver players), so they wanted to give a decent reward while also sticking to the theme. So they release a 74 rated card with higher statistics and attributes. They did the same thing for all the other Silver Lounge rewards, and keep in mind 74 rated is the maximum for a silver card. They wouldn't give it the same stats as actual silver players, because you wouldn't want to grind for a bad card.

The overalls are calculated on the basis of many stats of the player. For each position the percentage of stats taken for players are different.. But the stats on the card are group averages. Like for pace it's the average of Sprint Speed and Acceleration. So let's say for example for a CB position, we have two different candidates with exact same group stats, and the only group stat that is different is pace. Let's say player 1 has 90 sprint speed and 10 acceleration. His pace stat will be 50. For player 2 let's say his sprint speed is 50 and acceleration is 50. His pace stat will also be 50. But the overall of player 1 will be higher than player 2 because while calculating overall for CB position, sprint speed stat has higher percentage than acceleration stat. (I am just trying to explain the calculation, the example I have may not be 100% accurate)

Tbh it’s only defence. Otherwise Muller is no more than 5 less in everything else. Muller’s secret stats (the like 34 others not shown) would be why he’s better. Things like vision and whatnot. Also he’s playing for the better team in their respective leagues. FIFA likes to add stuff and take away stuff for that.

Correct me if im wrong but is it possible for ea to have upgraded for example modric because of how well real madrid played in la liga and champions league? Or is it possible that they make the stats out of how they play in their leagues? I mean modric plays as if he is 90+ rated, and messi like if he is 95+ rated right now. Although if we look on for example messi and ronaldo, neither of their stats belong on a 90+ card if we are going to be completely honest. Maybe they are their rating just because it’s them, and the same with modric’s increased rating. Look on Mbappe, his card is 1000x better than messi’s, but its the same rating (which in my oppinion has to do with messi’s international glory this year + just because it’s messi)

The average height of a woman's player is about 5'5, they can't match the physical attributes or the skill level of the men's game, yet we have to believe it's equal, and according to fifa games, on the same level. Women's football teams sell out arena's, which is great, but what they don't tell you is that they offer the tickets at such a low price, so that they can televise it and the popularity is high. I want the women's game to grow, I do, but I also have to call out the BS and the stupidity that exists as well.
