u hve explained 2 wrong things for adoption credit... 1st is Age limit is less than 18 NOT 19,... & 2nd is in case of special child 15950 Flat credit is allowable... actual expense is irrelevant... means if actual expense is less than 15950 then also 15950 is allowed, and if it is more than 15950... then also 15950 allowed only.

Yes the credit amount is wrong in the video but max credit is only $15950, however you are getting confused with the adoption exclusion, which is $15950 irrespective of the amount spent.
