I believe there will be a standard edition, deluxe edition and another edition more expensive than the Deluxe edition. I believe the standard edition will only have 1 athlete and I believe it will be Travis Hunter. I know they’ve said only current college athletes will be on the cover but I wouldn’t be surprised if on the most expensive cover it’s Jayden Daniels and it’s call the Heisman edition or something. I have nothing to base this on. Just what I think will happen on Thursday.

The app could be used for recruiting like they was saying. It should have everybody on the game grouped with all schools on the game paired with a user and online or offline dynasty recruiting is ran through real ppl. So if it’s a 4 star from Mississippi everyone group with you can see it and can try to win the player over .

I wonder if there is just the deluxe edition of the game (in addition to the standard) and the HE version includes the deluxe edition game, early access, plus other digital or tangible items. Hence why EA said “two covers”.

I am beginning to wonder that as well. The alleged GameStop pic only showed two versions, though the number of search results is cut-off, so we don't know if it said two or three. Having three versions could be confusing for people, unless one of them (Deluxe?) is a digital version or digital add-on only. Could EA be calling the standard version the 'deluxe' version? It seems weird IMO that the PlayStation listing would go to a premium version and not the base/standard. With all the rumors regarding covers & cover athletes, I'm still very confused on how many there actually are heading into the start of info on Thursday. - cdj Thanks for watching and the comment!

@@TheGamingTailgate absolutely! And this is beartide06 for reference ;) The images that have been circulating seem to show a standard and HE version. Unless they ware keeping a third edition and cover a surprise, I think it seems more likely there is a deluxe version of the game with a HE version being a deluxe copy plus other options. It’s fun to speculate, but we should know for sure this Thursday! I also won’t be shocked if this is mostly a cover reveal Thursday with a full reveal before the end of the month, as they mentioned. I believe this twitter also still says “full reveal in May.”

I knew you were beartide! I'm hoping we get *something* besides the covers Thursday. My assumption (yes, I know about assuming) is that once we get word on the different versions, they will go up for pre-order. Plus, once that happens they almost have to put *some* info out for game info on the product pages. Even if it's feature names with no details, that would be very welcome.

@@TheGamingTailgate yes, I think it will be a little more than a cover reveal. Maybe some sort of teaser info before a full reveal? It’s also possible there could be a full reveal, but seems a little less likely given their language. I wonder if they scheduled the cover reveal early due to the “leak”? Either way, I am excited! I’ll likely be buying the $149.99 edition, assuming that is legit. I really can’t wait to join some OD’s! I’ve been a commissioner on one for 14 for many years now and still have a great time.

There's been no word on that front, but we are guessing EA will want to establish a tie between the two games to encourage people to buy both CFB & Madden, so there is a decent chance in our opinion.
