PES/Winning Eleven ruled the era in late 90s and early 2000s, they were much better than FIFAs in that years. but FIFA became the better game and ruled the late 2000s and early 2010s. as of mid 2010s FIFA got too far ahead that there is no competition anymore. Ultimately in the 2020s PES was lowered a FTP mobile game

Wrong information, I played almost every FIFA and PES/eFootball game from 1999 and in every year gameplay of PES/eFootball was better than FIFA and in this year same thing.

PES vs Fifa back in the PS2 days most people preferred PES (4-6) for the vastly better game play, all you missed out on was licensed clubs and sponsors. eFootball you miss out on everything which is a real shame ... it screams of beta testing demo ... I still cant see myself enjoying Fifa/FC after a week as the game play is the same since 2013 ... it is really all about microtransactions and online griefing these days ...
