People are thinking way too hard about this road to the playoff mode. I full heartedly believe it will be a mode where you pick a team and play them for a season trying to make the CFP and win the natty. Exactly like Road to October in the MLB the Show games. You take one team through a simulated season, or play every game, to try and win the World Series

Sadly but it seems like they might have expanded the college experince side of RTG, but that would sadly mean we just choose where we wantto go rather then being earned a scholarship

Coaches opting in is an obvious recruiting win. Getting your likeness out there and HS players having familiarity helps. Sounds stupid, but these kids are playing this game and it never hurts to have your profile associated with something they like. Also, not opting in would seem greedy and petty.
