Those first 2 KOs were things of beauty especially that counter uppercut against the takedown attempt. As for the submissions I think that you should try the end of fight ones. When you knock a guy down but don’t ko him flat out instead of finishing him with the punches you can go for a submission instead and I think that there is only 2-3 gates for those.

@Anttheman937 жыл бұрын
You should hype your fights more during training and for longer camps. As for your submissions, work on them in practice. You just gotta work on your reflexes and don't panic on the bottom. Get in a position you can land a sub and hold your opponent there till their stamina is low and go for it. Also higher level submissions and submission offense makes the gates go faster.

Boogie Thug Rose he tried the ground game, he just says he's not good at it
@MmaSmarty877 жыл бұрын
Im not just speaking of him personally...yes he TRIED it...but he (like a lot of gamer's who upload UFC career modes) focuses mainly on the striking in all the fights and avoid the grappling and submissions...only training in take down defense, never going into fights looking for submissions but always knock outs....show me any career mode where a youtuber's fighter is a grappling/submission fighter first and a striker 2nd...you cant...thats what my original comment is about
@quintondorsey73627 жыл бұрын
Boogie Thug Rose well honestly I haven't seen any other playthrough other than Martal mind's playthrough but at the end of the day I think it just comes down to the fact that striking is just easier to do, handle and maintain rather than submissions plus also think it's more satisfying to get Ko's, but that's just me
@MmaSmarty877 жыл бұрын
EVERYONE who plays this game can be a knock out artist...its not hard....If the striking is easier to do then how can getting the KO be more satisfying?? if u watch a hundred of these matches and they all end in knock outs it becomes predictable and stale...like Rhonda ROusey winning by armbar....where as when performing a submission and we the veiwer are watching in anticipation wondering if he's goin to sink it or not...thats satisfaction
@keeblergotyourkookie6 жыл бұрын
Boogie Thug Rose I one-hundred percent agree with your observation regarding how it's very rare if at all existent, to find a EA Sports UFC 3 career where they prefer grappling over striking & aim to finish a match by submission. Cuz I to belive it's way more thrilling to watch the suspense of the attempts and how a submission hold plays out. Cuz In my opinion, it's definitely WAY more difficult and personally rewarding to be a submission specialist then a knock-out artist any day.

@bigtomivan7 жыл бұрын
Martial when you rock your opponents stop rushing forward and head hunting. The most obvious reaction to getting rocked in the head is to defend high, so kick the legs and attack the body when they're rocked to break their guard.
@emo79667 жыл бұрын
bigtomivan but then he wouldnt be able to finish the fight. Thats why most online matches that im in end in knockout
@bigtomivan7 жыл бұрын
What do you mean? If they're guarding most times you aren't going to end the fight. A smart opponent is just going to back-up and protect their head. If you open the guard you increase your opportunity to end the fight. Higher level opponents and AI are going to be even better at protecting the head while rocked. It's a waste of stamina throwing big punches and spinning kicks if they're just going to be blocked. A rocked opponent is basically a free body kick or a free leg kick and leg damage doesn't recover.
@emo79667 жыл бұрын
bigtomivan But also the a.i in the game are basically gods at blocking the body so thats probably another reason why he never hits the body
@bigtomivan7 жыл бұрын
Fake The Mumble Rapper you’re not reading what I said. I’m talking about when the AI is rocked. Computers work through logic processes. If the computer knows it’s head is at risk, it is going to protect the head. It can’t defend high and low at the same time. I’m not saying spam low kicks. I’m saying stop spamming big head punches and spin kicks. Mix it up more. Do it online too. You rock your opponent 5 times in a fight, that should be minimum 5 unchecked leg kicks that won’t recover.
