@@msum23 the same way dr2 had real stages but they're terrible. WRCG has without a doubt the best stages i've seen in a rally game. RBR as well but they are wildly inconsistent

This is gonna be my 1st rally game and everyone seems to be saying that driving with an F1/GT wheel would be a nightmare. Glad to see some practical use of it. I can't justifiy to get a new rim just for a single game, and I was just planning to play with a controller instead. Thanks for giving me hope! lol

If you adjust the steering angle to be tight enough it's definitely do-able, but not quite as good of an experience vs. having a real QD wheel and a shifter. Try it out and see if you love it, and if you do maybe it's worth investing in a new wheel for your setup, assuming you have a DD wheel base you can easily swap the wheel on.

This looks way, way better than i imagined it was going to be. To me it just looks like the physics need more improvement on power sliding on faster, longer sweeping bends and also still needs improvement in car handling on hairpins on tarmac. Other than that the physics are definitely a big improvement over the last title. Saw some dude drive a tight stage in Sardinia in the 2019 Fiesta WRC and it looked awesome.

^ I Had manual wipers. You can see throughout the video I used them like twice to wipe the dust off.

Looks kind of arcade-ish, I mean throwing the car hitting those sides and those ditches with no impact on cars behaviour. I don't criticise the driver by any means just my opinion on how it looks, I might be wrong but in Dirt Rally touching the sides like that had more impact on cars balance

As a Mexican who has been navigator on this very stage: WTF is this? This isn't how the stage is. This is just gravel gravel, no, you go through proper terrain on this stage. In fact, the last WRC games replicated this stage a lot better. This is typical generic EA, doesn't look like the real thing. Pendejo EA!

This or RBR is the best youre going to get. Nothing is ever going to be perfect. Some say RBR doesnt have enough grip. So you cant win really. Just got to play what you enjoy. Dont forget these modern cars have tons of aero/downforce on them and loads of tire grip on gravel. Maybe the older cars wont be quite so planted and pressed to the ground with downforce, which is how it should be.

From my point of view its pretty authentic and feels absolutely believable. I like that there are also differences in grip levels on different types of gravel. Mexico f.e. is way grippier irl than you might expect (Actually sometimes the tires do screeching on the Mexican stages as the ground is that compact)

​@@fxlltxtsearchAssetto at least tries to simulate suspension & tires. And the physics for it are written by a knowledgeable person. EA WRC physics is some altered mobile game/Need For Speed model with the car floating above ground and turning around a point like a hovercraft.
