EA-Style Building with Depron by Andrew Newton

Andrew is a very skilled KZbin buddy of mine who has really refined the EA building techniques using Depron and made some excellent airplanes, with nice videos to match. Slope soaring at the beach is his specialty but he flies at the field as well. He has made noteworthy examples of several EA designs and many of his own.
Worth a look and a subscribe whether you build with Dollar Tree foamboard or Depron.

Great video, as someone who lives in Australia I can't get the dollar tree type foam board unless i want something that ways a pound per square inch, leaving depron really my only option.

Andrew is that a arrow shaft spar that you are using? if so what size is it. Also Ed what is the size of arrow shaft that you use? I went to Walmart website, many different sizes and types. Andrew great craftsmanship.

Thanks Jose, I use Skyshark P4X spars (7.5mm x 83cm woven CF) for all my planes and camera lifting kites, from Kitesandfunthings $3.50each

Any experience with 2mm or 3mm Depron? Seems like it would be ideal for a super light sailplane, though extra carbon fiber pieces may be needed for strength.

+nir shalmon Probably not a formal spar, but a foamboard former will work fine.
