emerson is the only person ive felt ive had a real conversation with in over a year. We talked about art, we talked about music, and the connections between them. The way his eyes lit up, the way we got excited over the same concepts and ideologies, the way he saw in me what im scared to even see in myself.. he;s one of the few souls that understand who i am, and i think i understand him, too. His art means the world to me, his ideas pierce my mind and i can never thank him enough for making me think. So thank you, Emerson, for helping me realize that there's worlds outside of the one we live in, and all we have to do to get there is let it out of our minds. Thank you, for begging me to keep creating.

I don’t wanna sound weird or anything but i checked his zodiac chart cuz I’m working on this fanart thing for the boys where I’m basing it off of their personalities. so I went and started on Remington first cuz I needed to start somewhere and I was shocked to see that he has a Pisces in moon same as me (and Patrick stump cool huh?) now the reason I’m pointing this out is because this placement comes to show that we are kind hearted people who understand the emotions of others and think on a very deep level which leads me to believe that he’s just as or maybe thinks a lot deeper than what emerson was showing in this video. And it’s funny because both Remington and Patrick have the same Taurus sun Pisces moon placement. It really fascinates me. (Ok yikes I really don’t wanna sound like a creep because I’m not and I just wanted to share a bit of my own information if it wasn’t too much trouble but yeah I agree with you and his placement really comes to show it too)

Matt Thomas him, and Sebastian are actually quite average mediocre looking people. There's nothing special about their facial or body features. Its that they're different, both physically and mentally, thats literally what makes them so well liked. Of course if you see something that is out of ordinary like this band its going to strike attention to someone and we learn to find the beautiful things about the persons. Also their music is very likeable for a wide range of audience. You should be more open minded

This video has left me in tears, twice now. His words are so inspiring, he's just such a sweet soul. Not a single flaw he has. His art is incredibly beautiful, and when he said "each new page is an expression of something terrible i've been through", I lost it. I own his book, even that had me crying. His thoughts can touch someone else, creating this whole new world of thinking... He puts a new meaning into art. I love that he thinks that art should smell nice, like how religious cultures have a certain smell like incense or how churches may have a certain smell to them. Being a part of Emerson's thoughts, or just being aware of what he thinks about, and what he does to leave something for this generation is amazing. There's not a lot of people like Emerson, and him, being who he is, makes it easier to live for a lot of people. He's inspired so many people into learning about philosophy and art. He's inspired me to even get back into drawing. I isolate myself, looking at his art and I tell myself "there's no way I could do that." And if there's a will, there's a way. Sure, Emerson Barrett has gone to many places in his life, i've heard all about it, being a part of the Royal Council. And just knowing what makes him happy, and how he lives life; makes me happier as a person. I can say, Emerson has changed me, he's shown me a new part of life, of Spaceship Earth. I love Emerson. And for anyone reading this, Love The Void. - Emerson Barrett. 'Love The Void' is what Emerson says, its even written in his book, 'Avant Garde Society, Volume Two'. They also have a song called, Love The Void, I believe 100% it will be on their upcoming album, Boom Boom Room: Side B. So yeah, Emerson is a big inspiration for me, and a lot of other people. I was feeling so stupid for crying but yes I relate to this so much! I used to do art and drawing but stopped a while ago when I felt my art was no good, but after finding palaye and seeing his work I've taken it back up. I feel so much more creative and connected to things by art and music then I ever have been before and it just makes me feel so much more hopeful about the future and whatever's going to happen, I feel like I'm going to be ok

I absolutely agree. I have his book too,and Honestly every time i reread it (i've reread it 3 times now!!) I get so emotional! This video makes me cry with joy every time also. He inspired me to start writing poetry and read books on metaphysics,art,transcendentalism and religion,and meditation. I've made great friends through Palaye Royale,and I used to be scared to talk about topics like he does,cause i've been called "on drugs" "High" and "crazy." but i've found friends who share the same ideologies! I started listening to Alan watts cause of him too! And honestly,If it weren't for that,I wouldn't have started meditating,and my anxiety would be so much worse! And I've started making "love the Void" my life motto,cause it helps me smile on the difficult days. Without Emerson,I don't think I'd be as happy as I am now! the only other musician I know who's like Emerson,is Braden Barrie. He has a podcast on Soundcloud called Coffee Thoughts,where he talks about transcendentalism,spirituality,art and meditation. I think you'd like him! But I agree with you. This is why Palaye Royale is my favorite band, they inspire me so much and they're not like other bands. For instance I had to make a piece for my art finals. I only knew I was going to include saint Mont Michael in the drawing because my friend went there. After listening to Palaye Royale and 9 hours later I had finished my piece :)

As an older sister, I kind of agree. I'm not very close to either of my siblings, rather, they're more close. My brother and sister have a 4 year age gap, and I have a 4 year gap with my sister. I'm 6 1/2 years older than my brother, so there's a bit of a gap in what we like because he's a young boy and I'm a teenage girl. So, while I'm decently close with them, they're more close than I'll ever be to them. ❤

Emerson's art and ideology inspires me so much. To push my self through the self hatred and self doubt that comes with creating art. @@altpress his ideals are beyond me. The boundaries of the human mind seem so tight, but Emerson manages to push them. He gets more confident in himself and more comfortable with his form of self expression and I find it interesting that he has been able to find a way to do that. Since I was seven years old I was lost in this vast world. The unknown capturing me, both scary and intriguing. I found Kropp Circle around that time, and I was starting to slowly feel more comfortable as myself. I've seen Emerson and the rest of Palaye Royale grow up as I did myself. It's not frequent that people find others who share these thoughts, so listening to their music and Emerson's philosophical insight has been my savior. It may sound idiotic and unrealistic to some, but I hope to one day be able to meet Emerson and talk with him. It could be about anything really, just to thank him for his work and dedication and for helping me, even though he may not know it. Sorry for the rant-like reply. I oftentimes overthink and explain too much about what I want to say.

You know when people ask you "if you had one person to have a conversation with, living or dead, who would it be?" I've always known I would want to speak with an artist or a philosopher, but I never could pick one. Now I think I would want to speak to Emerson, because it seems like for everything I know about art and philosophy, he knows the same things and understands them more deeply or at least differently. I have never had a conversation with someone who understood everything I was referencing or all the conclusions I came to (and that's not to say that I'm better, just different) and I feel like Emerson would understand everything I have to say.

Emerson continues to inspire me daily. He and his art have dragged me out from a scarily deep pit that I've struggled (still often struggle) to get out of. But before I wasn't getting out of it at all. But since coming to find Emerson (and Palaye Royale) I've started making positive change. I've started making art again. I feel the general concept of pure and organic passion and it's feels beautiful. I can't put into words how thankful I am of this band and all they do. It's not just a cliche saying..they really have saved me. 🖤 🪶
