Ok, I think I have a genius idea for a story about the young adult living there. Maybe instead of being a sibling, she’s a friend of the teenager or even a cousin, but she had a rough family life and her parents disowned her, leaving her homeless. This family that lives in this house gives me super homely and generous vibes, so maybe they took this girl in and converted their basement into an apartment for her so she could live there without having to pay rent, and the reason she has her own space is so she wouldn’t have to feel the burden of being a part of the household and having to deal with the kids. Maybe she’s a part of the teenager’s band, as well. I also love the idea of it being a single mom owning the house, and her mom (or her mother-in-law) moved in with her to help raise her grandkids. Maybe the father passed away and the mother also makes good money as an artist, leaving her quite well off. Love this build so much, i’m tempted to get all the packs just so I can download it and create the family that lives in it. haha ❤️

ok now hear me out i had an idea for an "every room is a different..." ! It is : every room is a different mood So basically the way it works is that you have to build a room that will make you feel a certain way. (for example : angry room has to make you angry when you look at it, so it could be full of mismatching furniture and objects clipping, bored room would be plain, grey without any clutter,...)

This house is amazing, as always, but I love the teenage garage bedroom the most as well. Although, it would be really annoying having to climb down a ladder and go outside at night just to get to the toilet, especially in cold seasons. 😄

It makes sense to me! I haven’t watched the video yet but assuming it’s a kid and not a toddler/teen I think they’d definitely use the extra space for toys and homework and stuff. Maybe this parent is the kind that mainly focuses on their kid’s needs and wants so she wanted to give them the best room possible! Also she’s probably not the kind of parent spending a lot of time in her room with all these kids around whereas the kid would probably be spending time in their’s playing!

You should totally do a “one pack/kit *only* challenge” it’d be so fun :) Another idea is to make a “giant home” like where you size up all of the items and make a house out of it.. it’s probably not possible because of the walls :( but it’s an idea and I wish that it’d be possible. You are *SO* talented!! You also have the best ideas in builds and can make really great and fun small details in a build❤ Love that. You TOTALLY deserve SO MANY more subscribers. They really need a teen pack (activities wise) now. That’s what I’ve really wanted this whole time. Have band instruments/band competitions/create a band with friends or put out an ad for band members or join a band yourself/audition for it/ with a long term goal of becoming a full rockstar, skateboarding with a skate park, a movie theater job we can go with them to and we gotta make popcorn/clean the theater rooms/ clean up messes/ sell food/sell tickets/fix objects/clean bathrooms.

As of right now (11 minutes in) this house is reminding me somewhat of my friends' houses growing up. I grew up middle class as did most of my friends and there were lots of older neighborhoods with more mismatched styles but also some cookiecutter neighborhoods. The big dining tables with the fireplace and the crazy backyard and warm cozy vibes really reminds me of different traits of all my old friends' houses through the years. Of course I had friends from low income families too so less of the backyards and fancy decor but it's crazy how family homes during that time were just all the same style regardless lol

I think this pack is going to be amazing, but I have been thinking about a pack id really love to see recently.. What about a music pack? We already have instruments in the game, but there are tons of instruments IRL that are not included like drums or any type of woodwind instrument like a flute or a saxophone. What I really want tho, beyond extra instrument choices, is the ability for Sims to play music together and sing along with someone playing an instrument! Also why is there no singing aspiration? They could add one, and/or like a band one. They could add Band for a teen club etc. They're are so many possibilities, it would be epic!

Oh, nice! I think the story of this house is; is that the Adult, the Young Adult, and the Teen are siblings, but the Teen is a surprise addition to the family. The house owner is the Elder sim(s?), but they love their family and let them live with them in their renovated childhood home. (as in those used to be only 4 bedrooms upstairs and the basement was just a basement for storage same goes for the top of the garage being storage space) The Adult sim is the one with the 3 kids the Kid, the Toddler, and the Baby. They got their first Kid early, so they weren't finally ready to have their own home yet, in the now but is its cuz financially, it's better for everyone to live in the house as it's enormous and 3 adults' income helps support it better than one Young Adult's income and ones Elders pension money. So them all living under the same roof makes sense. The Young Adult living in the basement wants to be there for their parent if anything needs to be done, etc., as a caretaker but also the one to take in the Teen if the parent(s) of the Teen should die before they can stand on their own. They know their sibling has more than enough with parenting their 3 kids. And that's why Young Adult and Teen live in the more remote areas of the house because kids are loud, and sometimes you want some peace and quiet. This could be a lovely story because nobody is seen as a financial burden, just a family who decides to stick together so they all can live a good life together.

backstory for the YA /basement sim: They're a cousin whose parents were recently eaten by a cowplant. The adults took pity on their niece/nephew and invited them to live with them and their kids. The grandparents who had moved in once the youngest baby was born were faintly skeptical about their oldest grandchild moving since since they were capable of living on their own, but they were fine with the change because they knew that their grandchild was having a hard time. The teen likes to occasionally check in on their cousin, being a teen, their parents had told them about what happened to their aunt and uncle so the teen likes to comfort the cousin that always felt like and older sibling to them. The younger kids, however, were told that their cousin moved in because they missed their family so much! Hope you enjoyed my backstory :) (Oh and the older cousin is apart of the band)
