It's such a pleasure seeing Jiraiya get the credit he deserves. He really exemplifies the breadth of the power system; a mastery over rasengan on top of incedibly skillful use of fire and earth is crazy, his sage mode is pretty much as good as you can get outside of a perfect sage, his battle IQ is insane while fighting an uphill battle against Pain, and he even shows us the more nuanced aspects of chakra with his sensory stuff. His fight against Pain is some of the best that the series has to offer. While he obviously succumbs to power cliff like many other ninjas, I think he remains near the top in terms of skill. Imagining him raiding the Five Kage Summit with a squad of toads is immensely entertaining.

Well, since you asked, I'll try to make a case for Tsunade. Raikage: he indeed is faster than her, and that could be a problem mostly on open field. Inside the summit, he would have little option, but to attack her in a straight line. She has great reflexes, people tend to judge her by the Kabuto fight, but she was so out of shape that she lost her breathe before the fight started. Against Madara, she was fast enough to coordinate with Onoki/Ay combo, and forced Madara to use a clone, something he considered unnecessary till then. But even if the difference was great, she could just observe his fighting style and throw a punch at future point, using not only her strength, but also his own speed against him. Katsuyu doesn't need to hit anything, the distraction alone would be very helpful.

Gaara: just like the oil in Jirayia's case, Katsuyu's acid would bring a lot of trouble for him. If it melts solid rock, it would easily penetrate sand. This would be the easiest one probably

The greastest menace is Onoki, but even then, there is good chance. Some would say he flies away... she can throw debris at him. Earth Golem is a joke. The greatest threath is particle style, but he need time to cast, and can't spam. It depends if she knows about it. If so, she could warn Katsuyu to reverse summon her in the case she is caught. And the fight can't be prolonged, or his back will end the fight for. I won't comment Danzo because it's unnecessary

Finally found the time to listen to this one, so here's a wall of text because Sannin are cool. I was really happy that you split the video up and it ended up as "Each Sannin vs the 5 Kage Summit" but I didn't like how Orochimaru was handled because we didn't really get "Orochimaru vs the 5 Kage Summit". I'll do a section for Jiraiya, Tsunade and then Orochimaru last. I'm skipping Danzo entirely because he gets put in the dirt by any of the Sannin. Just to reiterate as well: My general interpretation of the Sannin is Jiraiya > Tsunade > Orochimaru but it's reasonable to say they all clear the Kage Summit. I guess the 9:02 counts as a shout out to me, so thanks. Just wanted to clarify in hopes I'm not being misrepresented: There are many ways to scale Jiraiya beyond the five Kage, that statement just serves as one small piece of supporting evidence to the whole puzzle. In the gauntlet proposed in the video, Jiraiya absolutely cooks the summit and it's blasphemous to suggest otherwise. The only acceptable argument is that Jiraiya throws by turning off Safe Mode in an attempt to score Mei. I'll just toss this out without elaborating as well because I think it's funny: There's a reasonable argument that Jiraiya might not even need Sage Mode to win this. Tsunade got done dirty here because she's just boring to discuss due to how straight forward her power set is. Raikage and Onoki combo was able to match Tsunade against Madara, and there's no way they're doing that here. The Kage only have two ways to actually kill Tsunade, by suffocation with Gaara's sand or by disintegration with Onoki's Particle Style. You could argue that Tsunade might be able to unbury herself alive if Gaara managed to stall long enough to actually do that and it just straight up doesn't seem like that would work on her. Onoki has to tag her with the Particle Style and he has a limited amount of shots with it. It's completely possible he manages to do so, but I think it's more likely that Tsunade manages to touch him once and break his back. Just for some perspective, Tsunade is casually leaping to the heights of boss summons, throwing mountain sized weaponry, and survived being cut in half. Tsunade's feats of pure might are comically absurd when compared to most characters. You brought up Orochimaru's fear hax in the video, but didn't mention that Jiraiya, Orochimaru and Raikage all shut up and back off when Tsunade yells at them. That doesn't mean that she'll outright kill them based on that, just that all of them acknowledge that she's not someone you mess with so I'm not even sure where all the disrespect comes from. Just a small note on the Katsuyu Acid vs Amaterasu's temperature of the sun thing: acid doesn't melt things via heat, it would be more accurate to say it takes things apart. Any heat observed when acid dissolves something is a biproduct of the exothermic reaction taking place. Kishimoto is actually surprisingly consistent with his chemistry throughout the series, and Orochimaru has the most scientific knowledge of anyone in the series so I'd be wiling to bet Orochimaru understood that Katsuyu's acid behaved like literal acid and would unmake him. I think the choice to give Orochimaru access to Edo Hashirama and Tobirama is a detriment to the video and the discussion of Orochimaru became warped around Hashirama and Tobirama's powers rather than his own. Not to mention, Orochimaru wouldn't even have access to them at this point in the series. The quote "Orochimaru and the Edo Hokage is like having three Hiruzen level combatants" is also inaccurate. The accurate version of the statement would be "Orochimaru and the Edo Hokage is like having ONE Hiruzen level combatant." considering that they barely won the 3v1 against Hiruzen. All of that being said, I think Orochimaru has a high chance to clear the summit without the Edos but he has higher difficulty than Jiraiya and Tsunade. For one, I actually don't think it's possible for Raikage to defeat Orochimaru because of the poison blood paralyzing people who inhale it. Raikage only really defeats his opponents by puncture wounds and dismemberment, which paralyzes him. Raikage would need to literally one shot Orochimaru to prevent him from spitting out a new body and then killing Raikage during the paralysis, which is extremely unlikely. The point about Rasa is also not really much of a point at all. We have very little context about how Orochimaru vs Rasa played out other than Orochimaru had at least Kimimaro and Kabuto with him and that Rasa somehow knows that Orochimaru can use Edo Tensei. On the low end, Orochimaru could have just backstabbed him and that's the end of it. On the high end, Orochimaru used Edo Hashirama and Tobirama while having Kimimaro and Kabuto. The low end tells us nothing at all, and the high end tells us that Rasa isn't as strong as Hiruzen, which is blatantly stated already. Gaara also no diffed Rasa, whose ability is a hard counter to Gaara's, and then went on to run the most insane gauntlet in the series. Even if Orochimaru no diffed Rasa, Gaara did the same thing and then fought two more Kage and Madara. I think Orochimaru does benefit a lot from being indoors against Gaara and I think he can get the win through a combination of slipperiness and the poison blood paralysis, but I'm not sure what happens if Hydra Form has to be used because its power is so poorly defined. I'd call this one pretty close to even but maybe a slight edge to Orochimaru if he can get to Gaara before he makes too much sand. Mei is actually kind of interesting here. Orochimaru confirms that acid will kill him, and Mei's Boil Release is acid. Orochimaru's Body Replacement Technique is mainly used to shrug off large blows dealt to his body by creating a new one, but the Boil Release isn't a one time thing, it's a persistent damaging effect and it was dissolving Susanoo in seconds. The only reason Sasuke didn't die there is because Zetsu stopped Mei. There are definitely outcomes where Orochimaru just dies there, but I think he can get the win if he avoids the Boil Release scenario. I have a hard time ever giving Orochimaru the win against Onoki because it's 100% in character for Orochimaru to tank unnecessary attacks due to hubris, and Particle Style isn't something you tank. If we give Orochimaru the benefit of the doubt on this one, I still think it ends up similar to Tsunade where you could call it either way but it would be a much longer fight. Hydra Mode probably gets Orochimaru killed though, so I'd put this as 60-40 in Onoki's favor. My end result is Jiraiya clears 10/10 times, Tsunade clears 7/10 times, Orochimaru clears 4/10 times. I think it would be cool if you could revisit Tsunade and Orochimaru in future videos to show them a little more love. Either way though, keep cooking TG. You're still putting out the best videos in the scene on the regular and every video is a treat.

1:00:08 - You can't scale the acid to Amaterasu regardless. Acid doesn't melt objects through heat. Acid dissolves objects through a chemical reaction where the acid absorbs electrons from an object's atoms and makes it more water/liquid soluble. Acids essentially attack the foundation of an object's molecular structure so that it becomes something that will break apart in a liquid. That's why acid damage and heat damage are two different things in DnD. It's two completely different methods of destruction. One sheer raw power (the heat) the other a form of transmutation (the acid). Mei and Tsunade/Katsuyu should never be scaled to Amaterasu because they do different things. Something that is immune/resistant to heat isn't necessarily immune/resistant to acid. That's why Mei is so dangerous. Even if you're resistant/immune to the heat of her Lava Release, you might not be protected by the chemical reaction caused by her Boil/Acid Release, because it melts things in a completely different way!

Why do you think Itachi no diffs jiraiya ? jiraiya can just close his eyes and fight Itachi only using sage sensory. That will fully negate the Sharingan. jiraiya has sealing jutsu for Amaterasu (from part 1). As for Susanoo, jiraiya just has to outlast it (Itachi cant use it forever). jiraiya could have escaped Pain if he wanted to but chose not to. Itachi cant catch him

An argument that isn't brought up too often for Orochimaru killing Rasa instead of sneak attacking him is the fact that Rasa tells the other Kage that he knows Orochimaru uses Edo Tensei. Now, how does Rasa know that Orochimaru can perform the Edo Tensei? Cause Rasa is being found a corpse right after Orochimaru had destroyed and left Konoha as well as the Sand Shinobi wondering how long Orochimaru had been posing as the Kazekage for, Orochimaru only publicly used the Edo Tensei in his fight against Hiruzen long after Rasa died, so how did he know Orochimaru can use the Edo Tensei? Cause Orochimaru used the Edo Tensei to fight Rasa head on and then killed him and like Hiruzen he did it to flex on him and flaunt his power as he was shown to be gloating about it to Hiruzen and Rasa being the Kazekage a very reputable title like Sanin would want to fight Rasa head on with Edo Tensei so he can be at full power and then over power Rasa and kill him like how he planned against Hiruzen. As TG said in his video, both Rasa's and Hiruzen's deaths were classified as assassinations which would be true as Orochimaru would have fought and killed both of them, but Hiruzen is stronger than the other Kage so he did fuck up Orochimaru in the end even if it did mean it ended with a partial draw

If she’s starting with seal on like jeriah did with sage mode, it’s likely she does kill the raikage before he’s powered up. Any aid can be chakra short circuited. If she summons then the ability to have mini slugs shooting acid on and at people from all directions gives her a huge numbers advantage. Not to mention she would probably come with sleeping and poison bombs prepped to throw as well. Frankly if she comes in with her best options, she could poison the entire Kage room before segregating to initial battles and she could do that with a shadow clone while she awaited the fallout ready to strike anyone who left the poison from.

Tsunade downplay again.. Tsunade attacks scale beyond full susanoo swords as she breaks rib cage version and full body susanoo swords. Raikage cannot take a hit from those swords. People like to say she's "slow" but she is quite fast and her reaction speed is in the God tier thanks to her being a medic. So even if the raikage can move faster, she can react faster than him which cancels his speed cuz he has to come in to attack her and we all know that won't go well for him. Yes Katsuyu's acid is better than amateratsu because it vaporizes stone immediately and it is senjutsu and cannot be sealed/absorbed unlike amateratsu. Manda was able to dodge her acid due to his size - Look how massive katsuyu is and the amount of acid she can spit covers a wide aoe. Any sand attack gaara tries will be ineffective, and he gets 1 spotted. Mei gets 1 shotted. Ohnoki also gets 1 spotted. Katsuyu is also severely underrated and she is so versatile! Katsuyu can be useful in any and every situation. For Ohnoki who can fly, Katsuyu can be used as stepping stone for brief mid air momentum for Tsunade to get as high as Ohnoki. Katsuyu can also liquifey and reshape herself to dodge any particle style attempt from Ohnoki.

I really do doubt jiraiya gets straight up blitzed by the rikage. His guard would be up and he definitely knows who the rikage is. Jiraiya was playing so smart against pain, and countering their shared vision, so I think his first moves would be removing the speed advantage somehow. The rikage’s speed is only liner so jiraiya just needs to react to the line of attack, and unlike sasuke with his sharigan, he has no blind spots thanks to his sensory, or detection barrier

It’s very possible his Jinton could kill it especially of a lot of its scaling although the exact upper limits are unknown. Like we don’t know if it’d scale to the P.S or Wood Golem that Full Kyuubi Rivals, and even then you can argue the Nine Tails drops a Bijuu bomb too big to be hit by Particle style.

Jiraiya clears EASILY 🙌 Literally No Kage other than Ohnoki is even threat. And Ohnoki will also lose to his Versatility. Shippuden Orochimaru can't but Part 1 Full Power Orochimaru Clears but Not as easily as Jiraiya. Tsunade is Tough. She is near Raikage's Level and can handle him. And her abilities and power can handle everyone upto Ohnoki. She stops there 🙌 : Stop Saying Raikage blitzes lol. Jugo and Suigetsu cna react to that lvl of speed. Tell me you don’t know how the Raikage’s cloak functions without just telling me. Suigetsu and Jugo react to a V1 or lower version of the Cloak. The Raikage raises his speed when outputting more chakra into the cloak and his hair goes up this is know as V2 which he does when he sees MS Sasuke. So it’s already far faster than the previous benchmark. Then he stacks Body Flicker on top of that and that’s the Raikage’s Max speed, which is just blatantly above MS Sasuke’s Perception and physical reactions. Please don’t comment nonsense, even if y out think that Jiraiya wins the Raikage is actually faster. He outright states nobody is faster than him even with ANOTHER Sannin next him cuz, KCM also being faster than SM physically which is > or >~ to Jiraiya’s. It doesn’t dictate the whole fight but, yes V2 Bodyflicker is faster. The fact you don’t think a fighter who is on par with Byakugou Seal Tsunade in just V2 is not a threat to Jiraiya is WILD, especially with Darui as support.

And Darui is Absolutely a Non factor at that point. A massive Ranged attack would wipe Everyone including Darui off the Battle. Also , Why are Overrating Raikage's Lightning amped Reaction !? Both MS and Sage mode is EXPLICITLY Shown to be superior to that.

Danzo being slower than Sasuke doesn't translate to Jiraiya and Orochimaru being faster than him. His feat of marking Sasuke is legit, that wasn't on purpose from Sasuke. Also their mutual strike is also a legit feat for Danzo. Yeah, Sasuke got the better hit in, but Danzo wasn't using Sharingan precog at the time. Danzo's speed/reactions are V1 Raikage level, if not slightly above. I can see Orochimaru prevailing over Danzo given his tenacity but Jiraiya will get decimated via Izanagi blindside (such as vs Asura Path).

Personally, I wouldn’t count on Orochimaru summoning the hokages with edo tensei. As 1-4 were all sealed within the reaper death seal. Orochimaru knows how to release souls in the shinigami, but they were unavailable up until the 4th war.

Tsunade durability is lower than her ap because her ap is greater than raikage ap who can tank the light speed transportation but Tsunade can't ( is said she only survived the travel via regeneration with byakugo seal) so Tsunade ap > Raikage ap = Raikage durability > light speed transportation damage > Tsunade durability (This only works if you think raikage ap = raikage durability)

To do my comment about some of these fights (1v1) I would say I still think Jiraiya can take on the Raikage himself, but maybe Ay's speed would still beat the pervy sage, but if we take the frog summonings and ma and pa I would say Jiraiya mostly wins clearly, not easy still but yeah he should win Jiraiya would destroy 5k summit Gaara but I think if we talk about Gaara in the war arc he should clearly win he's very powerful About Tsunade I think she should mostly win against Ay, byakugo is very OP and she can use katsuya to limit the Raikage's movement and make the floor slippery or something, thing about him is thst Tsunade on her own definitely can't get to hit him at all, but she could tank his attacks and use that moment to counterattack him and basically on the long run she would win Mei is the weakest of the 5k but being that she's a mid-long range figther it won't be that easy for Tsunade, she can tank almost everything from the mizukage but I think lava style would be dangerous in the long run, it wouldn't beat Tsunade right of the bat but with enough of it Mei could melt Tsunade's face and head, but if Tsunade takes care of her fast enough she shouldn't be a problem Like Jiraiya I would say Tsunade destroys 5k summit Gaara but the war arc Kazekage would obliterate her she would not even get CLOSE to touching him at all it's her worse fight and counter

He didn’t hold back he was just waiting for Koto to recharge the entire fight. The only part you can argue it is legit at the end of the fight and due to Sasuke beating him he was forced to internally debate using Koto or Izanagi with the eye. Koto was on recharge from he earlier use at the 5KS the Sharingan only activates after he takes off his bandage.

You can argue it any number of ways but, what actually happened was his Eye Power returned at the end of the fight. Obito knew of Koto despite not seeing it in the summit so it doesn’t matter. It’d make way more sense for him to use Koto on Madara off rip but, he doesn’t and this noted. He literally couldn’t use the eye until the end, Sasuke beating him down led to his L. Him holding back isn’t true, what you actually are looking to say if Danzo had Koto recharged he would have won which is true. It makes no sense to discredit Sasuke when Obito clearly outlines why it was necessary for Sasuke to fight as he did.

It didn't pay off but you need to follow the wiritng better. He definitely held back everything he could to kill who he thought was Madara.
