Dang dude, good for you! I did the same thing, buying an MTB for fitness. Let's hit the trails soon.

Mountain Bikes are fun as hell man. I'm a Dirtbike guy first and foremost, but live near a vast trail system with all kinds of good MTB trails. Gonna love it even more when I get my bike converted with an electric motor.
@EachAdventure5 ай бұрын
Yep, that’s exactly why I started looking at mountain bikes too. Tons of trails nearby to explore, which are especially fun on an ebike since it helps flatten out the climbs. Thanks for watching! 🙏

As long as spandex isn't involved. No problems.
@EachAdventure7 ай бұрын
Hahah! There is definitely no spandex involved. 😜

I believe you got your eMTB by now, but man it's life changing. We do way more riding, and stoke levels high, and progress faster on eMTB.

100%! E-MTB's have been a game changer for me. I still enjoy riding the D7, but for my local rides that involve steep climbs I tend to reach for the e-bike. Thanks for watching!

Found this channel because of 4 yr old Versys300 review.. I just bought used one 960 miles.. Then I look at other videos an you have same damn Mtn Bike I bought last year! LOL the D7... I love this bike for me anyways...
@EachAdventure5 ай бұрын
Hahah! Great minds think alike… or so they say. 😂 The D7 has been a great bike for me too. Not super great when the speeds pick up, but the bike is more capable than I am. Ride safe!

Hey, it's Norco! I graduated in 2003. That's awesome. I love when people bring the town into the conversation. It's a small town that I hardly meet anyone from there. I grew up In Corona on the streets Cota and River Road. The apartments there are called The Springs, way back in the day they used to be called The River Run Apartments. Went to Washington Elementary then Auburndale then Norco High. The high school looks completely different than when I had left it back. When I was in my senior year we heard there was talk of building a two-story building with an elevator. Years later I found out they had built 2 two-story buildings. Oh the times. But anyways, when I used to live at those apartments, I would ride my bike around cuz there were these small little hills in the complex and sometimes ride around the whole block or down the street to River Road Park and head back home. I had an old school bmx bike that was my father's brother's bike passed down to me when I was 5-6 years to ride one day. That day came when I was 12. The bike I had was either a GT Pro Freestyle Tour or a Haro Freestyler bike. It was baby blue with a hard blue plastic seat and light blue tires. The other thing I remember that had ALWAYS stood out for me were the handlebars. They were double handlebars. Not looped. It was two, straight, paralleled bars on the top of the bars. I haven't seen anything like that again. I don't know much details on the bike because I was more into just riding my bike and it's something I'll always regret. Along with letting my sister convince me to get rid of the bike to make room in our small apartment. That hurt my soul. I cried so hard letting go of it. It was the only time I felt blissfully happy. Man, those were great times back in 1996-2000. The entire time, I rode my bike with no brakes and a chain that kept coming off lol. It made me one with the bike. Good times. I haven't rode a bike again since then until a decade ago when I bought a 26 inch beach cruiser. Man, did it hurt to ride again. I got on it like no time had passed by. I thought I'd have some trouble balancing since it's been years that I rode one but no. It was like old times. But sitting and riding it hurt my hips and lower back. I could only ride about 12 minutes before calling it quits. Then life happened and stopped riding altogether. I miss it though. My mind and soul would love to ride again but my body just isn't like it used to be even though I'm 39 years old. Seeing vids of people having fun riding their bikes makes me reminisce the good times. And it's awesome to see others try and enjoy it. You keep mountain riding. I've enjoyed watching you talk and ride an area that used to be home to me at one point. 🚲❤and ✌

Thanks for the comment! I actually graduated from Norco a year before you in 2002. I also lived down the street from those apartments, in the neighborhood across from Auburndale. Before I started skateboarding, I used to ride my bike all around that neighborhood and in the fields off of Auburndale/Rincon where the old cheese factory used to be. What a crazy small world! It’s never too late to pick up biking again. I started up again about a year and a half ago, but I’ve also been riding dirt bikes for the last 10 years or so. Have you ever looked into e-bikes? They don’t require quite as much effort and you still get all the benefits of biking. Plus you can choose your own difficulty level, so as you get back into it you can make it harder or easier depending on your preference and goals. Take care!

@@EachAdventure Dude, that is so effing crazy! No way. I'm sure we crossed paths in school. I got so curious and had to look you up by busting out my 2002 yearbook lol. The only clue I had was looking through one of your videos on here where I could see your face and you said your name is Josh. And looking through the pages of the book, I found you! Your last name's Taylor right? Just by your look and style, you can tell Limp Bizkit was ruling the scene lol. You had that bleached hair kids were trying out. There's a picture of you with 3 friends of yours posing for the camera. You look very familiar. I'm sure we definitely crossed paths. While looking through the yearbook trying to see if anything came back to me, there were a few of you guys that I remembered. Like H Millan, G Rodriguez, D Loop, T Montoya, Nesbitt (can't remember his first name but he loved drama/stage/theater), there's another dude I remembered that had long spiked hair and would constantly dye it different colors monthly lol. He was always quiet but super nice to me in class. I think we had French. Then there's guys I went to school with like R Fulton, G Brouillette and J Villa. Oh man, memory lane! That area you lived in was an area that just about everyone lived on. I remember alot of guys would ride their bikes there all the time. It's why I started riding my bike there down to the park cuz I saw other bikers lol. What if you were one of them? I so wanted to connect with someone and have friends who enjoyed the same love of bikes as me and just cruise around. I'll tell you what, Class of 2002 was the shit. I thought you guys were so effing cool 😎. You're the class that started those skits huh? The one where the guys put on a show by dressing up as girls during assemblies and have crazy hijinks. Great stuff btw. Didn't you guys also pull off a big prank as an end of the year thing at school? lol. Anyways, I did think about e-bikes but then I thought, am I really going to go out alot and ride? Nope. I think riding is behind me. But I do enjoy watching these kinds of vids. I'll live vicariously through you guys lol. I don't know if you've biked around Fullerton. That's where I live currently. I hear there's a bike trail called the Fullerton Loop that is a great spot for MTB. Dude, there are so many hills here. You might love and hate it here lol. I love going down hills. Like who doesn't? So yeah, check it out if you haven't been on it yet. Ask some friends and see if they've tried it. I think you'll enjoy it. I feel like you like speed and smooth trails to keep the ride going strong. Maybe you'll try it for a future video? I'm subbing btw 🤪. Here for the good times. ✌and ❤
@EachAdventure7 ай бұрын
Yep, you found me! I knew some of the people you mentioned too. Geoff Brouillette and I actually used to skate together during my senior year. So crazy! I haven't done the Fullerton loop yet, but I will definitely try it in a future video. Thanks for the comments and for the trip down memory lane! 🙏

Love my Ariel Rider Kepler E Bike . I am looking at a dual hub motor with dual suspension for an upgrade. Something that can do 45 mph PAS or throttle only will be nice.
@EachAdventure7 ай бұрын
Dual hub motors with dual suspension would be super interesting! Would probably be a blast in soft sand or technical terrain. Thanks for watching! 🙏

Why do you ride in the lowest gear when free riding?
@EachAdventure7 ай бұрын
This video was from a while ago when I was still trying to figure things out. Still am TBH… but practice makes progress! 😉

But if you keep doing those climbs once a week ,you won’t need an e-bike .May not seem like it but you will get stronger and those hills will be nothing….I like the climbs now lol
@EachAdventure7 ай бұрын
Yep, you're 100% right on this one. I did end up getting an e-bike but to your point, there is something super satisfying about conquering a huge climb on the analog bike. 💪 Different tools for different jobs. Thanks for watching! 🙏
