Hello John. Only 8 screws. Leave the 2 in the front in, so you can flipp it over. So I du it. Put oil shocks in it. That‘s what I did and change the mountingpoint of the shocks in the back to the lows point that brings the car down and stops it from rolling. Do‘nt use the extended axle, the bring to match Stress in the bearings.

The advantage of that motor is it looks like it has a built in cooling impellor. Could come in handy as everything is very enclosed.

I like that controller, left or right handed very good design ,maybe some good oil shocks will help when turning, my Tamiya lunch box doesn’t flip with oil shocks anymore 👊🏻👍🏻

Hiya mate. Yes bouncy bouncy but many people have said that you can fill the shocks with oil which helps. And by moving the shock to a lower position it will help with centre of gravity. One man team and 2 videos recorded at the same time. Never again with that camera setup. I'll bring my tripod next time! 😊📸👍 Have a great weekend!

Bloody brexit means I can't get one week delivery from Czech Republic. No delivery options anymore only China can deliver to UK. Take 15-20 business days but at the price and a little bit of shock oil this RC looks amazing. Being brushless is giving WLToys a run for their money value wise. Spare pinions, a slipper clutch and hex head fixings throughout all for £80 is a no brainer.

Hiya mate and I hear your frustrations. Brexit has stopped me from using my parents as go-betweens and the cost has skyrocketed. I now have a pretty good system with Malta post. They have set up something called SendOn service. They have warehouses in Italy, Germany, uk, usa and HK. So I have my items sent to my sendon address in one of those countries and they then forward it at a very low price. So 20kg normal sized package from italy to Malta cost €28 which is great for the weight. Shame UK cannot do something similar in france for example. You have your items delivered there and forwarded automatically. Its a great system. And on this great car. Yes, Eachine is doing well. I'm trying to get test driver status but my application keeps getting "lost" 😂😂 Its not a bad price and its built well so the upgrades should fit fine. I really am interested to see what happens with a mega fast brushless system and it lowered as much as possible. 😊👍 Have a lovely evening and again sorry for this one being in the spam folder. I made the mistake of blocking 500 swear words which have stopped the horrible comments, but the problem is it keeps blocking banggood and "bloody" so I keep having to delete certain keywords. But KZbin being KZbin, they keep reappearing a few days later. So I have to keep on having to do it.

This looks just like the WLToys 12427, without the lary lime green bits, and I love the way it looks. It also looks very similar to the Axial Yeti in design, and that loves to roll over in grippy conditions. Even weighing 4kg, it rolls very easily. The Eachine looks awesome in that flat black. 👍🏻 They really have a good range of cars now. And the EBT02 boat is cracking as well, at about £50. 👍🏻

Looking at this and 12429 .. Think 12429 has combined esc and receivers so I'll need new esc to put in crossfire receiver in that.. Both models need oil socks I haven't built or drove rc cars in like 20yrs lol..

Great video John! I was wondering, is the turning circle good or bad? One person in their review said the turning circle was pretty bad, and it was nearly un-useable indoors, and an example (obviously it's designed for outdoors! Is as good as say, a 144001, or worse? And I mean without the wheel extenders!

Hiya. I would say slightly worse than the 144001 but not by much. And yeah of course not inside unless they have gone totally crawler and then I would say it needs a little more turning but that can be achieved with a slightly longer servo arm as there is a little more turning available. 😊👍

A jacked-up Jeep doesn’t handle well on pavement either. This is modelled after King of Hammers-style extreme rock crawlers, and needs to be aggressively lowered if you want it to stop acting like a pogo stick at speed- especially on high-traction surfaces. Also, the stock shocks can be modded to retain oil. Tuned correctly, that will also reduce the bucking at the rear.

Good morning. Yes the battery tray is quite large so it's possible. But why you would want to carry the extra weight I am not sure. I personally wouldn't carry more than a 3000mAh and if need be swap the battery over half way through. Remember it's not just the extra weight, but also the extra strain on your motor and esc which could cause overheating issues. Just my thoughts of course. 😊👍
