The start of the game i thought was really good, i was barely losing and the games i did lose I felt i fairly lost. I dont know if its people figured out tactics to exploit or what. I think the reason why tackling is so bad is cause of the play styles, jockeying feels so slow unless you have jockey plus same with standing tackles. They’re forcing the new mechanics onto us

The penalties are not broken. They were coded like that by some developer that makes American football games, and doesn't know soccer rules at all. Once you tackle a and touch the ball first before hitting the opponents body it is not penalty. EA developers that coded that should be fired for not knowing soccer rules. 😤

This is literally what every game I play feels like for me. The moment I get on a win streak every start of the game they give the opponent a 2 goal tax advantage and I have to recover by the end even though im playing 2 times better. I'm a player since 13 and its not worth the stress at this point. Will probably be my last WL. Overthinking and coding ai stuff destroyed fifa. Amount of undeserved, unintented things happen in this game, gifting my opponents undeserved possessions is just hard to not get angry to. Ball rebounding back all the time, my opponent forward pressing like there's no tomorrow, no midfield AI, defender drag touch just to lose it again... I dont have fun when my opponents attempt cutback openings all the time. I dont know how they got it this bad so far. Its not a better player win anymore, its about who the script and ball deflections help wins. At this point im OK to not be able to get the ball from time wasters, they can have their desired win, just remove the pressure tactics completely, get a basic AI back like the simpler times. We all would be OK with fifa 17 with today's content, dribbling, evos etc

This was very fun to watch, but also perfectly captures how i've felt since last year's installment. Even in CAREER MODE the game loves to do everything in its' power to make sure your opponent scores, and you don't. Refs are completely blind, players will sit right next to your goalkeeper for easy tap ins, your players refuse to get the ball if it's loose, passes always go anywhere but where you're passing it towards, and if your opponent has Mbappe, you might as well just turn the console off and go back to sleep for the remainder of the day. eFootball is great but we really do need a new footballing game in the next few years separate from both of these franchises.

Every week it's something. This is ridiculous. They seem to change the gameplay every week behind the scenes just so see how it affects something. This week it's penalties that go nowhere near where you aim, passes that don't go where you like, tackles that don't work at all, strikers easily overpowering your defenders, 80 paced attackers somehow outpace your 90 paced defenders easily and more rebounds to opponent than ever.
