Eager Beaver trailer failure and instant purchase regret

You could have replaced the solenoid hydraulic valves with mechanical valves so you could at least lower the ramps if the battery is dead.

Most trailers suck to some degree. I just bought an older 20 ton interstate, had it blasted & painted, new deck boards / lights. So far, not too bad. Trailers do suck, but there needed to move equipment.

When I was young working for my father eager beaver was cheap junk .Its no longer cheap but its still junk.

My Kobelco dealer said to stay away from eager beaver. I bought the Felling from Buck and Knobby in southern michigan. He said eager beavers are the cheapest trailers on the market and didn't recommend them at all. Glad your dealer is helping out. That whole trailer is pretty terrible and embarrassing that a company would build something with that low quality. You'll love the Felling when you get it.

How is your Felling working out? We have a tandem Trailking that we're looking to replace with a triple.. TrailKing would be our first choice but theyre hard to get ahold of right now.

So far it’s been great. No problems. We haul a Cat 953K on it or our Case 160D excavator. Would definitely highly recommend Felling

I just bought a new 20 ton eager beaver, shitty paint job and I hate the roto rings, it’s already rusting and hasn’t hit the salt yet

paleface8 Yes they did. I bought a Felling trailer and have had great luck with it. Haven’t had time to do a video. A lowboy wouldn’t be good for me, too much extra money for a rig that can’t do anything else to make money. A dump truck makes money and a tag trailer allows me to move all of our equipment.
