They are all over Jersey heads look like a big white bowling ball sticking out of their nests. They make massive nests up high in the trees. Lots of them around hillsborough somerset county…

I caught a about 20" rainbow trout there once from my kayak. It was a hot day and I wanted to release the fish. I revived it for a minute and pushed it off. Just then a Bald Eagle swooped down right next to me and snatched it right out of the water. It was a pretty big fish and it had no problem flying off with it. Same exact thing happened to me on Aeroflex lake in Andover. That time a guy and his kid were watching me fight the fish from their boat. The kid was going nuts watching the Eagle get the fish from 6 ft. away from my kayak.
