Trailways buses out of NYC for line runs had 42 seats. More leg room. Charter service busses had 46 seats. Nothing rode like an Eagle. But A/C when doing local sightseeing was always lacking. Just couldn't spin that a/c compressor fast enough. All that glass up front along with a neck tie and no power steering you got hot.
