Eagles fan here (so obviously a biased take incoming) and an early Hurts supporter (I was singing dudes praises and draftability at Oklahoma) and it really seems like there might be a real schism in that locker room and it starts with the coach and QB. Everyone is talking about the last 2 years but let's not forget Nicky's first season, where they clawed to a wild card game and lost to the Bucs, during the game Bucs players could be heard saying on the sideline "dude (Jalen) can't read the defense, they're cooked". And this was even before AJ was in town, so we can't blame that on him! I think AJ, Hurts, and Nick all have very unique personalities that don't always mesh while playing. AJ wears his heart on his sleeve which is fun to watch but to a buttoned up guy like Hurts, I'm sure it's a distraction. But once again, just like Wentz, the team puts the QB on a pedestal, to the point it aggravates guys on the team and it rubs people the wrong way to the point that people mentally check out. So basically they're doing a speed-run of Wilson's career in Seattle, dude acts and talks like a coach, which I'm sure Jeff finds delightful but the rest of the team just raises their eyebrows and is like "we helped too ya know!". It's concerning and idk where you start to fix it bc the GM is above average, the owner is better than most and the coach has taken us to the playoffs every year he's been here, as has Hurts! It's like, we got too many people doing a good job to fire anyone but the status quo can't continue. That's just how I see it, as an Eagles fan paying attention.

Orrrrr.. you recognize that not every team is the Panthers and you need to get better if you want to get that championship.. I’m a Hurts fan.. he definitely has what it takes.. but he hasn’t been putting that on film on a consistent basis.. his biggest flaw (maybe his only one) is not seeing open receivers or not pulling the trigger to get it to open receivers.. if he polishes that up in these next few weeks, they can definitely win it all.. and if someone has to call that out publicly to make it happen, so be it.. Kobe did it, Phil Jackson did it, Belichick did it and you can count the rings.. Go ahead and call AJ whatever names you gotta call him, nurse your bruised ego and enjoy your trophy and parade lol..

Who cares, AJ needs to grow up. He got paid, we're winning....be a professional. We all have people we don't get along with at work, people who management likes better...... you get paid - DO YOUR JOB, don't run to the press and bring a bunch of drama to the entire organization just because you aren't getting enough touches. By the way, we're playing fine - winning by six doesn't mean anything, nobody went nuts on the chiefs when they almost beat them.... Maybe the scheme would look a little better if the QB would throw the ball to the wide open down field receiver the scheme was drawn up to get the ball to instead of hitting the check down. As an Eagles fan, all I can say is that we need far more advanced offensive coaching, and a QB whose brain is able to function like a supercomputer to be able to run a complex, advanced offense. Jalen just aint that guy, he doesn't have a brain that processes things as quickly as a Manning, a Brady, or a Brees.
