Of course you can't fit in all of their hits, but leaving out "Take it to the Limit" makes a big hole in your story!

The progenitors of "desert rock" in the 70s. Great songwriting, musicianship, and vocals. A genre unto themselves. Disco Strangler is one of my all-time favorites.

Frey bullied Randy Meisner and Don Felder, they were much more talented than Frey and he should have been ashamed of himself!

All bands have those problems, especially the great ones, From nowhere to the top of the musical world with all the drugs and and the other trappings is a heady place to land for guys in their mid 20.s. The original Eagles lasted about as long as the Beatles who hated each other by 1970. So just enjoy the music the way it is. Fantastic1

Thanks for pointing it out. Yes, you are correct. ‘Eagles’ is the name of the band. However, in sentences or speech, people often use ‘the Eagles’ because just saying ‘Eagles’ sounds awkward. I corrected the title to avoid any confusion in the future.

When they started it was very good. But later on Henley and Frey destroyed the Eagles with their behavior. After Randy and Bernie left,Don F left too. THis was the end of the real Eagles. The were never be the same. Joe Walsh and Timothy later on were good. THE BIGGEST MISTAKE WAS WHEN RANDY LEFT. THEY LOST THE BEST SINGER OF THE BAND.

For me It isn' a real celebrate tour without the real Eagles starting with Don H,,Frey, Randy Meisner and Bernie playing all that years,later completed with Don F.and Joe. That were the Eagles. End of the band! . There were many problems with 3 members because of Don H.and Frey. Than unfortunately Frey and Randy died. So they didn't exist anymore,meaning no more original Eagles. This last tour was not the real sound of the band anymore with other musicians. They lost the sound when Randy left and died, Frey died,Bernie left,Don F. left.They made the sound amazing. This last tour was not nice,they tried, but failed. That's the reality.
