defenders don't catch that many picks bro. that's why they don't play WR. Diggs had the most ints in a long while, 10, right, so, yes Jalen played bad, and he could have thrown more picks. but we still won, cause of Jalens winning persona. that's an intangible. not many QBs have it. the fumbles will get corrected. What Kellen gotta do is scheme up routes where Jalen can have a betta outcome. he will do that. it's early. Jalen will be betta!

Remember, Hurts has way more on field control and it takes time to learn to play ADULT QB in the nfl. I give Hurts a C+ because he did make some plays late to secure the dub,even though his decision making was average at best for chunks of the game. Good team win especially the defense being tested early, and holding strong for the most part.

Jalen has to be better but why am I not ODing on Hurts? The first interception needs to put more umph and release it earlier, noted! The second pick and almost pick 6, I can’t defend but it was one that hurts himself can be like “ok, I’m tripping let me chill out”. HOWEVER, I still saw the Hurts that is NOT going to go down without a fight. Some rust that needs to be worked out due to no preszn. We move! Barkley, AJ, Smitty are really Eagles 🥹. Im gonna give it till week 4 or 5 till I make any judgements on Jalen. Like other people are saying, new center, new system, sloppy field, and that was his first live game action of the year. Any quarterback might be a little rusty in that situation. But if he is still throwing bad picks in week 5 then we will definitely have an issue. Green Bay was one of the best teams at the end of last year, we might have been the worst and we got the win. At least we got something to build off of. Go Birds!

While Hurts had a few very nice throws, in total he was awful. His continuing to unnecessarily force the ball to receivers who are either tightly covered, or multiple covered, is a huge concern. Helping to make the receivers covered, is Hurts’ staring down where he wants to throw the ball. Both are huge red flag habits that aren’t easy to correct.

Sometimes I wonder if Hurts works TOOO hard - mentally/physically (imho). I think he’s trying to be too perfect. His arm speed is way too slow and he’s not feinting or looking d-backs off. Hurts doesn't run like he used too, and he doesn't look like the same player while he's running, right now. He was so good in his first two years and now, not so much. He's reminding me of when Wentz lost a step and some brain-cells! Like Wentz, he kept trying to run and couldn't escape anyone!
