He never made excuses and puts more pressure on himself to win than these guys on TV do. They're just rooting for him to fail. Acho once said he'd been "Exposed" but to claim that would mean HE was telling the lie. You All, the media, make evaluations and when it doesn't turn out as YOU thought it would, they've been "exposed." Jalen's never told any stories or claimed anything. How is this dumb conversation? hurts nearly has a roster as good as the 49ers on offense. Of course he should have a lot of pressure on his shoulders.That’s a perfectly reasonable conversation to have especially since he was just in the Super Bowl two years ago he made all pro second team and he was in the MVP conversation.
@SteliosKantos6 ай бұрын
@dariusjohnson6013 Nearly??? We need to stop with this. That Eagles o line was and still is at this moment better. They have comparable players at every other skill position. These clowns have no idea what really happened with the downfall of the eagles. The defense was riddled with injuries when they got to 10-1. There was no Dallas Goedert for 4-5 weeks of football which ruined that offensive gameplan since Goedert is crucial. FINALLY the real reason they fell apart was their OC Brian Johnson was beyond idiotic with their play calling ever since week 1. Pure talent got them to 10 wins. That DC Sean Desai failed that team & even Matt Patricia couldn’t save them with those secondary & Linebacker injuries. Maybe real analysts would figure this out.

The loss of the coordinator can't be ignored, but Jalen's production in 2022 was eye opening. And so in 2023 you expect him to exceed that, even with the loss of a coordinator, especially because the former QB coach was still there and the head coach who is offensive minded is still there. Jalen was paid to be more productive than #6, particularly with the skill guys he has. Also when looking at the games, the production doesn't tell the whole story. His mechanics and reading of defenses was lacking.

You can’t fairly compare Purdy’s situation last year to Hurts’. The coaching situation of the 49ers was miles better than the Eagles and it showed. A much better comparison is Josh Allen and the Bills. He arguably had as many weapons as Hurts did, but struggled in the beginning of the year due to bad offensive coaching. Then the Bills switched coordinators mid season, and what do you know? They improved. Bottom line, when a team struggles, you can’t pin it squarely on the QB for not being able to overcome bad play calling. In those situations there’s only so much you can do, unless you’re Mahomes.

All of them don’t blame the coordinators which actually was the reason for the bad Year🦅🦅🦅

Hurts is a good backup that just prolonged his job due to the saquan signing

James is right. The pressure is on Hurts and to a lesser extent the offense because they haven't really improved their shoddy defense. They're loaded on offense and gonna have to outgun teams, have a lot of 41-37, 38-35, 44-42 games.

The pressure is 100% on Sirianni, and a little on Kellen Moore. Hurts is safe because of his contract. Besides, Hurts is a top QB, NFC title, huge support from dawgs team mates, self confidence is intact (he's not Mac Jones, Tua or Kenny Pickett).

Crazy not talking about the play calls being horrible for Hurts last season compared to Purdy

Somehow these deep thinkers turned signing Saquon into "more pressure on Jalen". As if he already didn't have pressure. He had pressure to deliver the year he took them to the Super Bowl.

Hurts was leading the mvp race until like week 11

Helman > Shady, the difference in intelligence and meaningful contribution to the conversation is crazy 😮💨

Shady is intelligent. What you mean? This dude just gave Dak an out. Watch he will use this later.

He plays in Philly there's always been pressure on Hurts. There's never not been pressure on ANY Philly athlete there's pressure on the punter, there's pressure on the ball boy!!!!

Glad to see Dave back. Anyone know why he actually left the show?
@rcbrown226 ай бұрын
Good question , I don't know why he left the show. I miss him I think he's a real asset to the show.

“Would you rather have Saquon Barkley or grace?” 😂 Dave is a great guest

And he's clearly outsmarting hysterical Joy at every turn. TJ Houshmandzadeh used to do the same.

The problem last year was Brian Johnsons playcalling. The calls since week 1 were absolutely awful, there was no rhyme or reason to any of the playcalls
