(Saints fan) the hit was cheap for sure. You hate to see a player get hurt like that. The refs gotta blow that whistle much earlier though. They stopped his forward progress and the refs let them drive Devonta backwards for like 6 yards. But yeah no excuse for some bs hit like that, hope he’s good

Jalen is a system QB, and I think that's a GOOD thing. Dude always looks to make the play that wins the game, not what makes him look good. Now, he is absolutely behind when it comes to certain reads, and he either scrambles too early or straight up forces bad plays that lead to turnovers WAY too much right now. But people aren't mentioning enough how NEW of a system he's operating with, and the third new one in three years to boot. But I think if he's allowed to learn this system throughout the year without too many injuries, it's a pretty safe bet the birds will run much deeper than they did last year, bare minimum.

Without injuries, the eagles lost Becton, Johnson, Smith, Slay and Covey not to mention AJ..........
@godiegolems
@godiegolems 2 күн бұрын
@@Zekers87 none of those are season ending though, unless there's something we don't know about Covey and Slay yet that could be more serious. But we are deep at corner so that's somewhat ok, and even though we aren't that deep at receiver we still have tons of weapons including the best tandem in the league, who so far are only out for a few weeks. AJ I imagine will be back next week.

@@bren2k5 Reading comprehension, "bren." I said he HASN'T had 1 system to run for more than one year.
