Sometimes in order to get better the situation needs to “explode” and the truth needs to come out. Before this, she was stuck in a cycle of anxiety, hiding the secret, guilt… at least now it’s in the open and “out of her hands” in a way. Plus, I do believe Maddy will end up forgiving her. They have been best friends for years

I know this isn’t gonna happen bc its tv, but Cassie really needs to just get out period. She needs a new school, in a different (less dramatic and toxic town) place, where she can be what she is. A kid. All these students are struggling with adult problems because they are children. I love the show but Cassie seems like the most vulnerable and naive character that’s just never going to “win” at a school like that. Looking forward to seeing what actually happens next ep tho. Hoping she gets a redemption arc eventually!

Maddy framed an innocent man in season 1 episode 5. And lied about her age to sleep with older men. She also threatened Cassie in season one when Cassie was concerned about the abuse she suffered. And to the people saying Maddy was manipulated by Nate because she was in an abusive/ manipulative relationship. The same could be said for Cassie. Cassie is being manipulated as well right now also. She genuinely feels Nate really loves her. She’s just as broken and insecure mentally as Maddy is. Just admit you guys Stan Maddy because you like her outfits. Cassie is broken too. She has a lot of learning to do. Stop picking and choosing. ❤️

Here’s a word of advice love: If you relate to her so much then knowing how shitty her actions were and are you should be taking notes on who you shouldn’t be, and if you want to glow up you shouldn’t do it when Cassie glows up, do something about yourself before you end up creating a life like Cassie’s. It’s disgusting how you’re letting yourself be treated like this because you deserve better knowing how much you do for others. If you’re depressed, try and get therapy for your problems, and it’ll take a while for these problems to be solved but at least you won’t end up creating a life that’s similar to Cassie’s.
