In 2006, an auction at Sotheby’s - the famous British-founded brokers of art - fetched $1.7 million for a single-page illustration of the Shahnama of Ferdowsi. Then, in 2011, another single illustrated folio of this longest epic of world literature was acquired by a wealthy bidder for the hefty sum of $12.3 million. This makes a total of $14 million for only two leaves of the codex - a codex with as many as some 258 illustrated pages.

Alslamu Alikum.. Thank u for such interesting video.. I just want to correct what u mentioned regarding the bible being written by the 12 disciples of Jesus because that is not true niether according to the historians nor the biblical scholars.. Not to mention u should have said the new testament not the bible as the bible also contains of the old testament books. Scholars believe that the one who have written the new testament's 1st book was paul and it's known to be his letters to the thessalonians and it's believed to be written between 49-51 AD. He was done writing his letters in 58 AD and the last of those letters was his letter to the people of rome making his share from the new testament's 27 books is 14 books starting from Romans and ends with Hebrews in the new testament's index. Scholars also believe that gospel of mark was the 1st of the 4 gospels to be written and it was written between 60-65 AD. Then comes gospel of matthew and gospel of luke and they are believed to be written at the same period between 65-75 AD. Gospel of luke was written by luke who scholars believe him to be paul's student and he was the one who wrote the book of acts. Which means that paul wrote 16 books of the new testament's 27 books if we added the 2 which were written by his student luke. The new testament's last book to be written was gospel of John and scholars believe it was written between 90-100 AD No one knows who mark, matthew or john truly were neither anything about their lineage nor any of the scholars believe them to be Jesus's disciples and the same goes to luke and paul. The earliest greek manuscript for the complete bible was discovered in Sinai and it goes back to the 4th century while the earliest biblical text discovered from the new testament in general was a business card's size piece from gospel of john and it goes back to approximately 150 AD.

@@henrylivingstone2971 i probably Don't But considering da Vinci's unconfired painting sold for nearly half a billion A handwritten book of his would easily fetch 300
@henrylivingstone29712 жыл бұрын
@@sarveshjojna731 No….even with consideration of Davinci’s Salvator Munro selling for 450 million, with 50 million being sales and commission on part of the auction house. His notebook still wouldn’t sell for 300 million. You can’t just throw out a random number when it comes to evaluation, that’s not how it works. The main reason the painting is worth more than the notebook is that there is fewer in the market than there are notebooks. There are only 20 confirmed davinci paintings and there are 50 confirmed davinci notebooks and thousands of assorted drawings and separate sketches, all valuable in their own right but incomparable to an actual painting. So while it would’ve definitely appreciated in value, it would not “easily fetch 300 million”, if anything it would range in a conservative 55-80 million dollar range, most definitely under 100 million. There’s a difference between a notebook and a painting. There’s a bigger market for paintings.

Not long ago I was reading a book that I found in old place .And book speak about Jesus and something scared me becoas the book was to old and it's size of pocket book I forgot how Manny pages was there there is picture drawing and anything there . And he said don't let anyone read that book becaus they will get scared in future . And I keep reading it till I was saying it before I reading it . It's scared me and I was run outside the house for awhile . And I came back to my room I start trow them to the trashcan . Now I regret why I trow it away . I want to know more about it .now I am not scared anymor no matter what book I read .I know that no one can hurts me . Becaus i am special for something . Reading is learning actually all things we had in our mind it's already writing in book just to find the evidence and find the book in library or store . And see who wrote it before we even think about it . Becoase some book when I read it I said to my self this is what I am saying. And I am the only one know what I think and what I see, and those people writers from the old' days . Now I want to separate things make book my own to remember again . And stay in my own book. And get knowledge from the otheres . But still I don't have place my own . I need job that fits in my knoleges. In my own time.
