First - in phase 2 if you don't get your options your phase 1 allotment is safe if you paid fees and did delf reporting. KMIT placement will be better if you are in the top of the class, but campus experience is not great. If you do not have the confidence that you will not be among the top 50 among all the CSE branch students in KMIT prefer GRRR
