We were given the opportunity to interview the fantastic, fascinating and proud Belfast man Eamonn Holmes. Eamonn is one of the most recognisable characters on TV with a career spanning over 40 years. We chat about his career, dogs, celebrity friends and of course all things Belfast!

Wow! Soooooo envious conchur! how on earth did you pull this off? Eammonn Holmes is one of my all time heries of television. A no nonsense Northern Ireland guy who tell ist like it is. What a KZbin coup! Well done!

Thank you Tom! Eamonn has been a longtime follower of my page on Instagram and Twitter especially under the Document Belfast name and has been very supportive. He loves a bit of nostalgia for home! I just asked him out of the blue a week or so ago and he said yes, was quite shocked myself. Looking to hopefully have a series of local interviews upcoming if I can. Appreciate the kind words though and hope you enjoyed it, back to the old school long form interviews!

@@TomMcClean haha thanks Tom! Yes he's a lovely fella, rang me and all before it to give me a pep talk, very supportive of creative types overall. Flip I don't know, aim big I suppose, the likes of Jamie Dornan, Darren Clarke, Rory McIlroy etc would be fantastic but not sure that will ever happen! We'll have to meet up for a wee dander in next few months Tom, I'm doing a thing with a page called Belfast Hidden Tours soon and you're very welcome to join us when we get started

Hey that would be great Conchur! That would be something I would very much welcome. I love meeting with/working with, other Belfast KZbinrs of the same ilk, in any kind of way. I've met a few and done a few videos with them too. You aimed big with Eamonn and look what happened. If you don't have a target you will hit nothing, so go for it. Maybe Eamonn could pass your name on to a few possible guys and gals. I for example, would love to meet/interview Julian Simmons. Everyone thinks of him as simply a fun figure but it takes a wise man to play the fool. I've watched him being interviewed and he is one naturally very funny guy. I love the idea of hidden tours. Local author Peter McCabe ( Eastside Centre ) does a similar type of tour over in East Belfast etc Peter is a great guy. Let me know when you are getting going. Unfortunately our Assembly have painted themselves into a corner as regards restrictions. It is easier to shut down than get out of shutdown! I do not see lockdown restrictions being lifted for a long time. Best wishes
