EAO Think Tank Workshop Series: Biology & Etiology

We are bringing together scientists, clinicians, industry partners, funders, and research advocates to engage in a series of workshops aimed to address research gaps, identify resources, and develop actionable strategies to predict, prevent, and treat early-age onset colorectal cancer (EAO-CRC). This series will build on the key issues and themes identified during the December 2023 EAO Think Tank and set the stage for further dialogue during an international Think Tank in 2025.
Join us for our second workshop, facilitated by Andi Dwyer, where Drs. Cathy Eng and Caitlin Murphy will delve into the complex origins of EAO-CRC, emphasizing the interplay between multiple factors - including genetics, microbiota, environmental exposures, epigenetics, and metabolism - in the development and progression of this disease.
Together, these workshops will pave the way for our EAO Think Tank on June 25, 2024, where we will begin to discuss interdisciplinary approaches for tackling EAO-CRC at the international level.
