amaizing álbum 10/10 BMP (╬▔皿▔)╯Harsh male vocals, explosive drums and tremolo guitars contrast with lovely, clean female vocals and a haunting Celtic harp, resulting in songs that live up to the album's title. The focus is on the wistfully sad melodies punctuated by the harp and the piercing, icy screams that underpin the overall gloomy atmospheres that Eard has created. Melancholia seems to me to be an album that leaves its mark as a whole and in which individual themes intermingle, as if we were observing the gradual changes of the tide while reflecting on the nature of things. An unlikely choice for driving down the highway on a summer's day, Melancholia is probably best suited for cold, dark mid-winter evenings, where it should serve you quite well. Hail Eard "👹"₆₆₆
