The brakelocking happens when upgrading the brakes and you forget themaster brake cylinder and the brake booster. Had the same when going from a total of 4 pots on the front to 16 pots.

@@zf8496 Look for a upgraded master brake cyllinder. And if that does not fit the OEM brake booster, also buy that. I went for a brake booster and master brake cillinder from and Audi R8. As long as the 2 parts fit it will be fine.

​@@zf8496 the abs module will have different coding/values depending what brakes the car come with from factory. When fitting only bigger front brakes changing this coding can help

Could you elaborate on how a bigger master would fix this? It seems that the brakes are locking so fast that the ABS doesn't react fast enough. I'm genuinely curious as I'm working on upgrading my A3 brakes.

@ralmslb tbh I don't think it does. Normally a sign you need a bigger brake master/booster is a soft spongy pedal or a lot brake pedal travel

For many cars, such driving costs 30-40 L / 100km (with a skilled driver). Than means the Golf would maybe get 5 laps on a tank. My C6 Z06 took about 45L / 100km on the Nordschleife, but with taking it easy up Kesselchen! (Normal driving 11-13L so nothing wrong with the car). The fuel consumption on a racetrack is no joke....

Yeah, they absolutely gulp down fuel. When I dailied mine around town, it took 14-16L/100Km. Never did better than about 10L/100Km on the highway either 😅

Yay.. my younger cousin 😄 KW DDC works nice on this one imo. To the owner, if he reads this: LiPo battery is HUGE upgrade, if you don't already have it. I have it on my VR6 - you won't believe how much you can feel the difference of 15, 20kg less at the front. Well worth the € imo.

The issue is in the size of the brake master and it not being able to delivery enough fluid in time. I believe the ABS sensor kicks in when it feels your brake pedal is low and it's not slowing down quick enough. Upgrade brake master to Audi TT RS brake master and it should fix it.

I think he needs to adjust the brake bias, as obviously those brakes aren’t made for that smaller car. This was what I was told when I was planning to do my R35 to R34GTR brake swap, and those cars are quite similar in weight in comparison to a Porsche and a Golf R32. I’m surprised the guys tuner didn’t warn him of this before doing the swap. Just chucking on something without looking at its effects is dangerous. You’re a brave man Micha as I’m sure 90% of the cars you drive are dangerously modified by amateurs. ❤

It was only my third lap ever on the Nordschleife, and even in my own Focus RS, I don’t see it as a race. Misha is experienced and just wanted to have a good time with my dad. I focused on learning from Misha and keeping up where I could. No need to push beyond my limits yet! 😅
