I followed billiards for the better 20 years of my life and I haven't seen a cue master play straight pool, one pocket, bankshot, 9ball, 8ball, 10ball, snooker, three-cushion, rotation, as better as Efren Reyes.. His kick shot, kick safe is the best there ever is, ever was, and ever will be.. His cue ball control is impeccable and he never fails to amaze the audience.. Truly the GOAT.. And let me add, Efren invented "kickshot"..

E. BATA and Earl S are like Ali and Frazier of boxing. Earl is so serious in his game do focus/ concentration that any small noise and chaterring annoys him during the game. Some people (audience) does not understands this that makes him like a villain because of his attitude. The otherhand Efren also is serious and do focus on his game but he is just simple/ quite and does not let those noise affect his concentration. People shud understand that billard is like a game of chess, needs a lot of focus and concentration unlike basketball, soccer, cricket , volleyball wherein crowd cheers/ noise is not a factor to the players concentration. Thanks Earl/Efren for putting up a good fight, a good show. Hope we can still see you both play even at 70 years old.☺☺🏆🏅🥇

Efren is the overall better player. Earl is the best 9 pool player. No body can deny. Being 3 time world 9 ball champion and being 3 time US 9 pool champion is not a feat even Efren achieved although Efren has more overall results and universal playing style...They both have contrasting personalities and in my opinion they are Ying and Yang which full fills each other... The greatest pool rivalry of all time.

@@martinreyvillayag Yeah burt Earl also has his fair share as he also defeated Efren in many events. Being 3 time world 9 ball champion and 3 time US open champ is not something even Efren can claim. He is the best 9 ball player while Efren is the overall best. Two legends. They like Ying and Yang. Polar opposite in all aspects even the playing styles. But they complete each other.

Efren is the goat in pool no doubt about that but Strickland is next to him and their greatness would not be complete without each other. Reyes will not be considered as the greatest without his matches with Strickland and the same thing with Earl, he will not be recognized as one of the greatest without his epic matches with Efren, they complement each other, if their is no Earl then Reyes will not be regarded as the greatest since no player specially in his prime could match his skill and billiard would not be as exciting, same thing with Earl, without Efren the competition would not be that challenging to him. Yes I am sad to see this two great players go and it would take decades or more that we will see another one like them. What is that? Shane Van Boening! get out of here, don't confuse talent with greatness, where Efren is when it comes to recognition Earl is right there next to him.
