I hope the draft goes like this 1 San Jose drafts Celebrini They get there centerpiece to build around and he will get play with a great player William Eklund 2 Detroit drafts Cole Eizerman They finally get a great goal scorer and offensive weapon to finish the rebuild and complete the top line of Eizerman-Larkin-Raymond-Sieder-Edvison such a nasty lineup 3 Philadelphia drafts Ivan Demidov They not only will pair two insane Russian talents together with Demidov and Micikov but they will also add the finishing pieces to a good prospect pool with Cam York, Cutter Gauthier and Tyson Forester
@Lebowski55 Жыл бұрын
I saw Celebrini's Chicago Steel play Eiserman's U18 team with Smith, Leonard, Perrault and Moore and Cele was absolutely the best player on the ice. At 16, he looked like a man playing against boys. Also, Celebrini had the most goals EVER (46) by a 16 year old in the USHL. For comparison, Fantilli had 17 goals as a 16 year old in the USHL.

For what it’s worth, in my chel 23 realistic Houston expansion franchise I had a monster 2024 draft with 3 1sts after I traded up to 4th overall to take Catton and he’s been my first line RW with Bordeleau and Kakko since I drafted them and that line is unstoppable in big part because of him!

Idk if this draft is gonna be deep as 2023, but there’s a lot of defensive prospects. It’s gonna be interesting how the draft will play out. I still think the top 3 looks pretty star studded with Demidov, Eiserman, and Celebrini. Celebrini’s going to BU so I wonder how is production is going to pan out compared to Fantilli

@@BaBaBenny Maybe, maybe not. I hope so (but with hard fought losses, not just steam rolled). When I say out of the top 5, just to be clear, I mean draft number 7 eor 8 at most (not one of those guys who think about playoffs lol; nor even close to a wild card. No: bottom of the league but maybe out of the top 5 (this year we could have been with only 2 more pts so it's extremely close). I do think some teams at the very bottom got a spike since then, and there isn't a huge incentive like last year, so we could definitely draft top 5 too. It's very close either way. Under top 10 for sure no question.
