We did a reactive test with both skins, which deals with elevation change, combos for the Umbra-Tube back bling, gameplay with a hit test/swing test with the Umbra-Axe and gameplay of the glider, Para-Pluie. 5:17 I already said it on twitter but probably the reason why it goes from white to black is because black absorbs sunlight way more than white (making the clothes warmer) and since you're going up on altitude the higher you are the colder it gets

I really think you should’ve gone to the BR island and try out the outfits there. Like comparing the skins at Sludgy Swamp and Misty Meadows. Significant altitude difference. I would’ve included gameplay of that, just to show why a regular player should even care about the reactivity, since in this review, it kinda paints them in a negative light, for being “too high to activate fully” Edit: Pizo has posted a video showing exactly this! Testing the altitude and how the skins will look at some POIs

Agreed! Very well said input. Even in the loading screen, it shows them running up mountains. I’m pretty certain Epic didn’t expect the reactivity to only be for high builds!

I’m pretty certain Epic didn’t expect the reactivity to only be for high builds. The loading screen shows them running up mountains so traveling across the map has several altitudes, gliding up the Steamy Stacks, zip lining, using launch pads or shockwave grenades, bouncing at the cube pyramid, & flying through the purple crash site tubes will show the reactivity. Also, this collab is high end fashion. Renee’s look replicates the Moncler models for print ads & runway, not everyday wear..hence the shorts. Her high boots covers most of her legs anyway. 😅

Am I the only one disappointed to find out it’s white to black? I thought turning white with altitude would be perfect for climbing snowy mountains in game. Fantastic review as always though! You changed the way I grill burgers in RL and the way I buy skins in Fortnite.
