As an auto mechanic, this video here is my definition of hell. Not only are you losing your tools, invoices, and computers, but you are also losing customers' cars. Losing a customer's car is the worst feeling in the world. Everyone will say insurance, but insurance is only good at one thing and that is making themselves money, they are going to fight about who is responsible and who should pay. And that is saying the shop and the customer's cars have insurance. If not then everyone is left with suing each other.
@sleepyjay266415 күн бұрын
And when the insurance eventually does pay, the amount will be far less than the amount needed to replace the vehicle.
@virgilhilts392411 күн бұрын
@@sleepyjay2664 Typical insurance policies do not pay replacement cost and never have, they pay ACV (actual cash value), if you had ever read your policy contract you would know that. If you want true replacement cost then you have to by a policy that covers it and it will cost more. Same for obtaining gap insurance.

I don't understand how anyone can say this is appropriate for any fire Company or Department. I know they are volunteers, but that is not an excuse for any of this. Cause of the fire? Let me guess: a faulty Li - Ion battery. They are almost everywhere, and they have a tendency suddenly to ignite - when one cell overheats, it will set off a chain reaction. Once they go, they keep going, burning at 1200 °C. Which means: if you drive a car with a battery in it, do NOT leave it in a carport that's close to your home! You run the risk of watching firefighters one day put out what is left of your house! The no - fun fact in the end is that the car that set your house ablaze cost 50.000 $🤪! But the eco - friendly treehuggers still are so in love with E -cars - despite their apparent setbacks! Please see above! All the best from Germany!

This is a prime example of people claiming to be firefighters, but don't have a clue what to do when the need arises. You could have at least pulled a booster or a 1 1/2 and started knocking it down. Apparently they dont realize that their truck carries watwr so you can put water on the fire while getting a water supply not to mention i can piss harder than that stream coming out of the tower truck. These guys need to watch some David Decker videos. Maybe they will learn something

This video enraged me! FFS the firemens in the 1800's were faster with horses and steam pump. What a waste of ressources, all over equipped, big rig$ and all. But doing the worst job possible. I am ashamed of what we have become. I would fire the firemens Trump style!

There are many more similar videos available, just look for US 'firefighting'. Just skip the first half. That is just circus act arrival. They than start with the hose spaghetti act, and waiting game. But dare not to mention different techniques. US is the BEST! (in their head, anyway)

@ been a firefighter since October 2010. Started as a volunteer at 17 then graduated high school and applied to be full time and got hired. 14 years later I’m a lieutenant I’m still a firefighter and about 5 years ago I became a paramedic. I’m also an instructor and do in-house training for our up and coming firefighters. I’m a hazmat technician although I still have a lot to learn since hazmat can be very complex. I tried to be a swift water rescue technician but I passed up on that giving that my biggest fear is drowning. I wouldn’t be able to do my job at saving others because I would be in fear of losing mine so I gave up on swift water rescue. My next goal is to become a certified drone operator. My dept now has drones to help in search and rescue, scene size up etc.. so that’s next on the list. I’m very proud of what I have accomplished but there’s always room for improvement and more learning. So we’ll see where the wind takes us. Have a good day🙂
