The helicopter was most likely also trying to land for whatever reason, they possibly diverted to a civilian airfield due to a maintenance issue but we don't know anything yet. Either ATC or the Pilot made the unsafe decision to move before it was clear to.

They swiftly labeled it as a 'training flight' for that military aircraft. Sounds convenient! ATC was loud and clear, asking if that military aircraft had sighted the plane, and the reply was a firm 'affirmative.' So how in the world did they keep going in the same direction after confirming visual contact? Makes you wonder. Need to know the reason for that last minute change of from runway 1 to 33. Plane altitude was 400f when this happened. There is a need of some serious investigation.

Sometimes you just want to believe in miracles. If water temperature is 60 degrees F, time from hypothermia setting in to death can be up to 40 hours. Potamac's reported air temperature is 53 degrees F.; death may be up six hour from time of hypothermia. Maybe, there was a hot spot somewhere in this river near the point of impact. Between the Palisades fires and this unanticipated crash it is a getting a bit too much to fathom. Too many catastrophic deaths. This leads me to ask, could either the American Airline's pilots or the helicopter pilots have been terrorists in disguise? Suicide pilots never let up and we know who let them in our country. One has to ask. One has too ask! 9/11 terrorists were here for decades with pilots licenses acquired in the USA.
