Can't you use a builder to remove a castle, which gives your guys a new build charge to place another one, up to the maximum (3)? Meaning you can place it ASAP, and give it a refurb later to take up the improved yields?

You definitely can remove the castle and place it back, though I'm not positive if it's a builder charge to remove it or it has to be a vampire
