Here's a tip for ya about the pen feeders, make them a wedge shape, you get more food in them, and naturally the extra weight at the top of the hopper helps the flow, easier to fill as well if the top is wider.

Thank you so much for taking the time to show us parts of your working day. When I was still living in the UK in the early 1970's I did the occasional beating day at Packington Hall, in Warwickshire. Now for the last six years I have been helping with the beating on Craigmore Station shooting preserve here in New Zealand. We got a new young gamekeeper and underkeeper a couple of years back, both from England, who are putting their mark on this shoot. Looking forward to our season. Your boss has a lovely estate, and I'm pleased to see he gives you good equipment to build the rearing pens and run the shoot. The wolves, are they classed as a pest, i.e. can they be shot like foxes? Any pigs wouldn't last long around around Craigmore, as there are too many willing guns lol Love the videos and thanks for sharing them with us.
