Strawberries grow like mint. They need a bed or a patch to expand. I harvest Strawberries everyday from my beds. In containers only a few a season

I don't think you need to worry too much about the raspberry establishing itself. Eat the few berries you'll get! I'm pretty sure they grow like weeds and are semi-invasive. I planted 2 last April, got small handful last year. My kids and I have had a few handfuls so far this year. They've sent up at least 20 additional plants. I got a variety that fruits twice each season so will get more in the fall and loads next year. As for the Okra - try boiling a bit of water, let it cool a tiny bit in a mug then add the okra seeds for about an hour before planting the seeds. It accelerates germination. Calendula is also perenial in our zone so you could totally leave them in and they'll be fine (though not as pretty int he intense heat)

@crasht1224 Thanks for the reassurance to enjoy the raspberries. Twist my arm!😂 20 new plants sounds amazing- I'm so excited for you! And thanks for the tip on okra seeds. I've never had trouble with them before, so I'll have to try that. I'm suspecting that rollie pollies are eating a lot of seedlings as they're coming up.

@@thegrownpath the rollie pollies decimated most of my pumpkins and melons. I just learned the okra tip this season and planted a ton. They've made it through the tiny seedling phase. Now just praying the deer stay away bc they're in my front yard garden and the deer got them last year. I watched your video and got motivated to go out and reseed them. I keep forgetting how long we have in the season! I literally just came back in from seeding a bunch of melons and zinnia again. Crossing my fingers this time.

Love the way you edit your videos. Looks really nice. It's hard to get out and record with work and the baby. Everything looks great in the garden!
