Good video update of your lawn Andy. And your turf looks to have responded very good to the Flagship fert. I should try this fert and see how my SA likes it. Lately all I have been putting down are negatives trying to control/kill weeds. thx, tww

Definetly give it a try! How are the weeds? You've mentioned they were out of control a few weeks back, but now have you gotten some solid control or are they still out of control

@@andyslawncareandoutdooradv Well I think weed control is around 75%. The grass weeds left are Dallisgrass & Crabgrass. Nothing put down to date has touched these weeds. And according to the product labels for Southern AG Atrazine & Crossbow; I have already put down their recommended yearly rate of products. The research I have done for products to control/kill Dallisgrass/Crabgrass in my warm season grass is very expensive. I ask domyown.com and they recommended Roundup to spot spray or apply with a brush. In my back yard there is a section around 25' x 30' of Dallisgrass. I could blanket spray this area with the Roundup to smoke it off. I was very surprised to see how much/well the Burmuda grass has filled in on the south side of my property. My neighbor had put down Burmuda sod around 2007. I am good if this section of my lawn is mixed with SA & Burmuda. This is much better than the broadleaf weeds that dominated. thx, tww

@@tommywwalden1599 I think that since you got about 75% of the weeds you can back off the chems for a bit. At this point I would focus on trying to thicken up the turf as much as possible. The thicker the turf is, the more competition the weeds will have

@@andyslawncareandoutdooradv Yeah I agree with ya Andy! I ordered two bags of the Flagship fert last night. When it is delivered I will put it down. This morning I will be mowing the grass; go to Lowes to pick up a couple of bags of Procare Natural fert. I have been wanting to try the Procare Natural fert. I will put it down on the north side of my property between my fence and the neighbors property. And put it down in three ditches. Unfortunately we are. Its not too bad of a drought just yet and the cooler temps are the only thing really saving us at this point
