As someone who often sits on the other side of the table, thank you for articulating so clearly what I wish actors understood: you weren't REJECTED, you just weren't chosen! It's not a value judgment AT ALL! So often, there are a million different ways a project COULD be cast, and it so rarely has to do with the performers who are putting their hearts and souls out there. We lose sleep over the "coulda, woulda, shouldas," too! And PS: when you rock an audition, we remember! When it's meant for you, it's meant for you. I’m boricua and appreciate you trying to learn our unique pronunciation. You are right in VRS we will pronounce each letter separately. We will ommit or substitute R if is in the middle of the word. We talk fast way fast and that is why we ommit or substitute letters
