The third and final part of my brilliant spotting trip to Anchorage. This time I woke early to head to the viewing spot to catch some of the dawn arrivals come in. This was filmed from around 6:30am until 9. Although I say dawn, this time of year in Anchorage the sun barely sets so it was pretty light even at 4am. Some great catches in some pretty perfect filming conditions with good lighting and a great mix of heavy cargo traffic in action!

11:51-12:33, that specific Saab 2000 livery crashed in my hometown of Unalaska/Dutch Harbor in October. It's still sitting beside the runway here.

They’re registered to a cargo airline so no need to paint them always.

Yes I would like to know as well too, and what runway they are using to land. Usually the best runway for viewing is takeoffs/landings @ RWY 15 but that runway is only used when the wind is blowing hard from South to North (and its hard to film these landings because of the fence obstructing the view of the camera).
