Kevin~ I have some extra time, so I will explain the basics of Craps for you. Okay. You walk up to a Craps table, or Bubbles Craps- they are both the same, real and honest. Many people think that Bubble Craps is a machine with a computer chip, but that is not true. It is a live, real game. Okay. you are at a live Dice table and nobody is there except for the dealers waiting for a player. That player is you, and you get $100.00 in casino chips- 20 five dollar chips. The minimum bet is $10.00, so you put $10.00 on the PASSLINE. This means when you throw the dice all the way down the table, on your FIRST toss of the dice, and a 7 comes up- a 6-1 or a 5-2 or a 4-3 you WIN! You just made $10.00 in a matter of seconds! Also, on your FIRST roll of the dice if an 11 comes up- a 6-5, you also would win. So, first throw of the dice, a 7, or an 11 comes up, you WIN! This is called the COME OUT roll. Now, here is where it starts to get a little tricky. On your very first roll, if a 2 or a 3, or a 12 come up, you lose your bet. So, 1-1 1-2, and 6-6 dice combinations are losing rolls on the first toss of the dice. Now, the 7 is the MOST likely number to come up, mathematically. What people are looking for on their first roll is a 7 for a fast win. Now, on the FIRST ROLL, if no 2,3,12,7, or 11 comes up, that number is called your POINT. Say an 8 came up. 8 is your point, your number that you need to roll AGAIN to win. On your next roll, only two numbers matter- 8 for the win, and if a 7 comes up BEFORE an 8, you LOSE! So, your POINT is 8. You then, over the course of 10 minutes you throw, a 4,9,11,2,5,6,3,4,10,9. You still have NOT lost, or won. Then, on the next roll, you toss an 8! You won! When you first rolled, and it was an 8, the dealers put a big BUTTON on number 8, to show you and everyone else what the POINT is. Then, as you were rolling all those different numbers, nothing really mattered since no 7 came up, and no 8. After you hit your POINT, your 8, it starts all over again, and it's called the COME OUT roll. You put another $10.00 on the PASS LINE- and you toss an 11, and you WON! The dealer will say, "Yo eleven! Pay the pass line!" So Kevin, I hope this explains why G lost when the 7 came up. He had his point, was trying to hit his point, but the 7 came up, and G said, "Daaamn..."
