This was the very first Gordon Lightfoot song I learned to play on guitar - many decades ago! A fabulous song, being covered by more than 100 different artists and bands. There are many really good versions - my favourites are the ones by Peter Paul & Mary, and Gordon's original rendition. However, your version is excellent, I have to say.

Can you do Lightfoot's Canadian Railroad Trilogy? Not many know of it, being from the 60's, but it is an awesome story telling song, as well. Another might be "10 degrees and getting Colder" or "Miguel" I did mostly Lightfoot from 60's until I had to switch to electric rhythm after joining a church band near Tawas Michigan.(about 2005) You are making many people happy with your work. I wish this had been available back when, I would have done it.(still might) OH, I see you are doing Tyson as well. Awesome. Check out "Navahoe Rug" or "Never Hit 17", (when you play against the dealer) It is a story song as well. Thanks again.

Summer Wages is one of my favourite Ian Tyson tunes, it's beautiful and I LOVE the Canadian Railroad Trilogy. That'll take some work, it's an epic piece! Thanks for the suggestions and for listening, I'll definitely get working on these :)

Bless you for your talent and sharing these songs with the masses. I often sing Summer Wages , and Night Rider's Lament at open mics and most folks have never heard them. I am a fan/follower of yours@@TaraDunphy

Call me "slow" but I just discovered your videos quite by accident ... go figure. Enjoying your music tremendously. Great version of Gordon Lightfoot's "Early Morning Rain" ... I play it also, but you are WAY better than my poor effort ... still it's enjoyable to play. Thank you Tara, great music. Greetings from Florida.

She's modest even in her replies. Elvis was that way. Hos version was beautiful also. Her fans will fall in love with her just as Elvis fans fell in.love with him. Not saying she's as great as Elvis but they have and will continue to love her. Call ot fate or not. It is happening. You don't think so? Check out the comments.❤❤❤
