When you said, "this is just a season, it will get easier, just so you know." is where I started bawling. My baby has been waking up at 4am for the past week or so and I feel like I'm slowly slipping away. Thank you for the reminder that this isn't actually just my life now 🙃

I am so happy that I found you and purchased one of your special boxes from the Very Good Mothers Club. My sister in law is expecting her second baby love soon, and gifting her with a package that has been catered to expecting moms was amazing. Thank you for your work; the passion and dedication that you have placed into your project have and will change mom lives.

Yes! I use the Huckleberry app to recommend the time for the next nap & bed time. When dropping a nap, you update that in the app and it will show the updated nap time

You made me chuckle when you said "I go to bed so early that my family and friends think I'm a grandmother" cause that's so me!! I am in the thick of trying to figure out how to get my daughter to sleep through the night and she's currently been waking up at that early morning wake window you talked about!! I go to bed so early that I'll wake up at 11 pm to pee and think it's 3 am already. Nope. 😂 Praying for a safe delivery for you and baby!! 💞

I love your content so much. My partner are TTC and your content helps give me confidence that I CAN in fact, raise one or maybe even multiple humans! I love that you are honest when you can't afford stuff -- I can't relate to KZbinrs who are always showing "Look what we bought today!!!" in every video. I also love that you talk about the struggles and successes you experience as a parent. Also, I love that you are rocking the socks and no-pants look. (I KNOW you are wearing bottoms, it just made me chuckle that it looks like you aren't lol). Thank you for doing what you do!!!

If Wilson keeps getting ear infections you should ask your doctor for an ENT referral. My daughter had so many ear infections as a toddler and then she stopped bc she wasn’t at school anymore. Then she started school again and started getting them again. She got tubes earlier this year and it’s been LIFE CHANGING!! 💗

Naps are bad for toddlers. My wife and I have twins. They would never nap at the same time. We would make them stay up till midnight. They would wake up 10-11am. We had friends over the years who had kids and they would drop everything and go home and take a nap. It got so bad the kids would get used to it. We made sure we trained our toddlers to sleep at a party on the floor or in the car in between events. It’s better for kids to pass out at the end of the day. Sure. They will be cranky. But that will make them versatile..

Do you have any “sleep training” or how to help your baby sleep better at night? My little one is 4 and a half months and he is still super struggling to sleep more than 2-3 hours in a row at night and really struggles to make it past a 40 minute nap and I’m not sure how to support him to get him to sleep better.

A longer nap for him in the middle of the day will actually be better for you in terms of time for you to rest or get things done you cannot get done with him up and on the move. Wilson is letting you know he needs to drop a nap and maybe have one longer one. Does Eloise continue to have one nap or at least an hour's quiet time in her room with toys and books? You gave really good ideas for folks who are not familiar with these issues. Many do not want to spoil their children, so do not think that relative quiet with ambient sound or darkness are important. Well, the brain registers the light and it has all sorts of reverberations in the brain. They need to know it's nighttime still. And even for naps, they do need to learn to soothe themselves back to sleep. And if there's too much sound around them or attention given to their wakefulness when they're not complaining, to them that can register as party time, OK, I'm up now to eat and play. LOL. Naps need to be fairly evenly spaced and you are so right that 5:30pm is too late to awaken from the final nap of the day. The horror is to push naps or even bedtime back too much because it is not grumpiness, it is that they have no mechanisms to deal with being overtired. They, literally, do not know what to do with themselves, so they cry. Reading is hugely important for children, especially at bedtime. You do not have to read to each of them separately. My mother had 4 kids and we all read together around the rocking chair where the youngest was being nursed or rocked. It was not 4 separate reading sessions. We read to our kids together at the bedtime of the youngest and all are doing quieting down. You are right that a pacifier and a toy in the crib/bed are important for their self-soothing. You do not need the longer preparations, rituals of nighttime for each and every naptime at all. It is pretty crucial to not reintroduce bad habits that have been overcome at any age or new phase.

Wait so you're telling me @skillshare dose not have videos on how to help your baby sleep? I thought @skillshare had thousands of videos on how to learn everything from how to cook to complex engineering theory. Made me laugh because i always see ads for them and then you tell me you are watching videos on how to do something that isn't on @skillshare lol.
